It's back to basics with this one, @ZombieLiquid chose this submission by @sturk0167 and set a very different challenge for you this time:
"Anybody can paste some fancy decals on a car and make it look cool. Let's see if you can create a masterpiece with minimal supplies. With only 2 decals (the game-provided square and circle decals), transform your vehicle into a piece of art. There will be no sponsors. You can resize and stretch them as you wish. You can adjust the angle of application. Just come up with something that's pleasing to the eye "

The smallest canvas is yours this month, last competition’s winner @MatskiMonk opted to go with a theme that we visited in GTS courtesy of @wowbaggerBR but that was also proposed by @Hayden via our submission form. Here's what they had to say about it:

"There is one type of racing car that we all collectively ignored through dozens of LEC editions: go karts. So, this fortnight, the challenge is to give some love to the corner stone of the motorsport world: your task is to come up with liveries for the Racing Kart 125 Shifter.
I want you all to be original in your creations, but you may use inspiration from iconic liveries and brands, just try to not just replicate what has been done."

@MidnightRun85 sent in this month's theme via the suggestion form and @Gingerale didn't even blink when having the chance to choose it it seems Let's hear what Midnight has in storage for us:

"Like cursed liveries, imposter liveries claim to be something they're not. Unlike cursed liveries, these are loud and shouty "I'm a Lotus Elise!" liveries on blatantly NOT a Lotus Elise... I'd like to see original liveries which impersonate a factory-backed race team on a car which is clearly not from that manufacturer - the more far-fetched the better! Imagine you've been approached by a random manufacturer (preferably a brand not available in the game) for their new GT3 race car and cover that car in manufacturer logos and/or model names. Now choose a car which fits your vision and create an imposter! The less obvious a link, the better!"

The GT7 Bonus Livery Editor Challenge #01
Theme "24h of the Green Hell"
With the real racing happening this weekend, it's time for the first Bonus Round of the LEC.

"We all want to drive the Nürburgring Nordschleife, But very few of us get the chance to do so. As for many others they get to lap the Green Hell many times and the select few become professional racing drivers and run the VLN series or get to run the famous N24 event. These few drivers will rack up 100's to 1000's of laps and will so become Masters of the Green Hell....
So for this round I would like to see cars that you would see competing in these events weather they are original designed entry level cars to full blown fantasy made GT3 cars that are ready to tackle the monster of the Green Hell..."

Theme "Open Wheels"
It's time to get those formulas out for this fortnight. Last LEC's winner @Sian chose this theme which was originally proposed by @Cytoria for GTS LEC #21, let's hear what he had to say:
"Since the launch of the LEC, 20 rounds ago, there is one particular type of car that didn't get too much attention, despite being the ultimate racing class. In fact, over 502 entries, only 7 dare to use an open-wheel car. The liveries on this type of car requires a different style from the usual racers. That's why it would be too easy to reproduce actual monoplace liveries. Replicas of existing open-wheeled cars are not allowed, so no F1 / Indycar / Formula E, and no Prototype liveries. BUT, as you'll need creativity to adapt them to the specific bodywork of the mandatory cars, you can make "replicas" of other racing cars. Whether it will be a Raybrig X2014, a Black Falcon KTM, or a pure original design, just have fun and let your imagination flows!"
