Sorry about the lengthy delay boys & girls, I've been busy getting my real life car going faster, doing a twin turbo conversion to it.

Anyway, onto the pressing matters....

crimson_menace, the pages can't be found dude.

I-Runner, your times amaze me all the time. I can't wait till I see a 7.0 run from ya.

aaronatstate, unofficially in the Top 10, want pics though of your run.

I'm doing the same tonight, taking pics of all my FWD times from the past year and a half and showing them on here tomorrow my time. I still can't catch Jspoon's times in the Spoon CTR, but I've got 3 new cars in the 11.6-11.7 range.

My main thing on GT4 at the moment is trying to get baby cars like the 4WD Sirion 3cyl to do 12s. I'm down to 13.004 so far with that. :yuck:

Anyway that's enough from me, I'll update by tomorrow my time.

Mafs!!

Old beetle '49 did hit in 8.634
with only 85 hp and NOS, Standard Road Tires, started 2nd gear

Yeah, right........and my model-T does 4.428@338mph aswell and it's driven up the 1/4 by Tony Schumacher. Geez, some people will think I'll believe any figure that gets typed up......if you want me to believe that garbage I'd need about a pound of weed 1st so I could be that wasted to believe it.

:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:
See, that is the reason why I try for the FF records, not the Overall times. lol.

I've got to see how I'd stack up properly with the Escudo.....I've developed a hate for it since GT3.

As for my real car I-Runner, it's more power AND better fuel economy....when I don't drive like a nut that is!! :D

Mafs!!

P.S. Time will be updated in a minute.

hey mr i runner, u look like a hardcore tuner. my Lancia Delta S4 Rally Car does low 7.5's i cant check it now, coz my ps2 has busted. and my gtr does 7.678. what's ur spec c's time?

1st off......don't double post...it really gets up the other members noses around here. :) Just edit your original post and you'll be fine.

2ndly, where's the photo proof?? :) And just check the list's and you'll see how your Spec-C and whatever car you run stacks up against the rest of the people on here.

Mafs!!

This is my best with the Spec C ...

That's like asking the Queen for her royal jewels to keep. :D

Have a search around the forum (use words like suspension, drag, Spec-C....stuff like that) and you'll get what you need. There's setup's for drag, drift, circuit and burnouts.

Search Engine on GTP is your friend. :)

Mafs!!

P.S. Don't worry, I was just the same when I 1st came on this website. :scared::nervous: Didn't want to rock the boat in anyway possible and still don't, not like I do elsewhere. :mischievous: I like being chilled on here just yapping about GT.

right 👍

The Spec C is the most used car for drag test in GT4 ..
it could be easy find information about that car !

I'm guessing that all those time are from tuned cars, yes?
Is NOS allowed in these runs. And if yes, does it have to be specified that it was used?
Also, how are you guys getting your splits in every 100m? Is that in that replay analyzer?

my Wrx Sti sp.C '04 does 7.788 at las vegas =)
add me to the list?

I need photo proof mate. :) Read rules on 1st page.

Yes, all times from tuned cars....fully worked, suspension and gearing set up for 1/4 mile use and nitrous is allowed.....I might create a class for No Nitrous runs though and wipe the class racing off. :)

As for the 100m splits, that's done by doing the 400m along the test course and then getting the intervals from that from going into replay and pausing as you're passing those points, but that's not where we race on this challenge. Las Vegas only!!

For me personally, I actually do 0-100, 0-160, 0-200km/h splits, not distance splits. :D

Hey Mafis_boy . . .

I just had a quick question for you.

In your break down back on the first page, what is the diffrence between:
(((---AMERICAN MUSCLE (CARS MUST BE PRE 1975 AND FR)---)))

. . . And . . .

(((---PRODUCTION CARS CLASSICS UP TO 1975---)))

Aside from one being American muscle cars only, nearest I can tell its basically the same cars in two diffrent catagories.
(Well, not including the Strados in the production cars area)

Mafs has continued the original TREAD of K-BRIGGS ...
and this is the original TREAD "FORMAT"..

If you look carefully some cars can be listed in TWO - THREE classes at the same
time and the managing of this is very "hard" (the risk to forget new or
old imprevements)..

I-R

No, I get that. I realize that it’s a lot to undertake. I’m not bashing how he is doing things.

I’m just stating that because of its description, it’s basically the same category.
If I could offer a suggestion to separate them into something like American and Non American it would allow the lower powered Europian and Asian classic cars a bracket to compete in. Otherwise you could almost copy one category into the other.

I'm not trying to throw a wrench in the works. Just making a statement and offering a suggestion.

This TREAD is a must in my opinion :)

and i think that every improvement is GOOD 👍

I'm not saying that this thread is useless. Far from it.
I was actually looking at making an attempt in one of the areas, just those two seemed a little similar. Thats all.

Well its off to build a monster.
Hopefully next time I'll have a time to post. :)👍

Basically, it's like this:

I took over from K-Briggs but not long after that I was disconnected from the net, only coming on to update times from my mother's or friends PC's for nearly 2yrs. So I hadn't been very diligent in either merging/streamlining categories or creating many new ones. The SUV chart is a good one I've added to the list however.
With the 1/4 mile categories, I'll be delving into it a lot more deeply, splitting those Classic categories to US & Non-US cars, muscle cars will merge with Classic, getting rid of the class racing concept and just putting a No Nitrous Road Car & Race Car Top 10 up. :D

Give it a bit though....it won't happen overnight but it will happen, as I'm still catching up on GT4 challenges put up on here over the past since I was offline. :)

Mafs!!

WHAT!! YOU CAN'T CHANGE THINGS RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I SAID SO!!! :irked::irked::irked:

Just kidding. I understand its a big job to undertake. If you need a hand with anything, let me know. I'm not sure what I can contribute, but I'll help out if I can.

I had understood ;)

I thought so.

👍👍 Hit the NOS 👍👍

And thats just what I did. I took my curent game's work horse out to Vegas to see what I could pull off with it.

The car is a '99 Skyline GT-R w/ out any perminate modifications. (No weight reduction, port polishing, increased displacement, etc.)

At available peak tuneing on the motor I managed a time in the low 10's.
Adding a bottle I managed to drop that to 9.173.

Not bad if I may say so myself considering I still have quite a bit of tuing that I can still do.
