Shouldn't you update your time in your sig now RJ?? :sly: And it's not unconfirmed anymore. 👍 Time to crack my FD out (if my son isn't a little **** tonight!!....wouldn't go to sleep last night.) and chop this time to shreds, I've been saving it for someone to seriously go for the rotor records.

Just for the record, the time will put you in the Top 5 or 7 from memory (haven't checked pg 1 yet to edit).

Fluke, it gets updated when you put your time up. Just like RJ's will be in 5 minutes. There was a period where it was hit and miss but that's long gone, I'm always scoping this thread for times.

Yeah, I really ought to update it...

And I know that I can run stronger with a 2002 Spirit because the tires are lots grabbier for some reason.

Bring the Spirit R along aswell, the Bumblebee will now have it's go (Bathurst R in Yellow, 637hp + 100hp NOS & buckets of torque). I've been using it for 300mph attempts (real men only need 2 rotors to get 300!! :sly: ) but I want to see how I go again on the strip with it, that was my original reason of racing it.

9.15 at the moment. My son has 15 minutes left.....his favourite show at the moment is on and after last night's effort of pulling him away 5 minutes early and dealing with 3hrs of screaming I'm letting him watch it tonight so I get a chance to play the PS2, no company coming over tonight either or work in the morning so it's all good.

Anyway, enough chat on here, save the space for the times. :D PM me to continue this blabbing. :lol:

Bumblebee came out to play last night and absolutely tore that time up in 5 minutes, then set my own PB with it after 10 minutes. 8.318@285km/h was the end result before I was too tired from organising NYE shopping earlier in the day. 0-100km/h in 1.68sec. aswell during that run.
I'll post up pics in a little bit for verification, but it's a nice sequence of runs from 8.399 down to 8.318. I've got to play around with the ratios a tiny bit more (feel that 1st/2nd/3rd are just a bit too short) but an 8.2xx isn't out of reach by any stretch. I'd be really happy with an 8.250 or better with Bumblebee.
I also took it out on the 1000m, running 14.856@368km/h aswell with the same 1/4 mile setup and adjusted 6th gear.
This same car has run 282.4mph too on max speed test with adjusted ratios. :lol: Your allround speed machine. :lol:

Check your 0-100 time to see if I'm killing your launch RJ. I will say, it's very touch and go, if I'm 200rpm over what the shift point is for 1st/2nd and 2nd/3rd, it wheelspins loudly even with TCS!!

The times dropped in consecutive runs from 8.399 to 8.374 to 8.356 to 8.332 then 8.318.

That's how I'll leave the time until next year, got work soon then drinks with some of my wifes work friends, see if they can pass the Bacardi 151 challenge, and film it all to have some fun evidence of them being idiots. :mischievous:

EDIT: Mafs, you are in trouble!

8.529 on my first pass, default gearing No ballast. Same suspension as the old car.
 
*claps* VERY VERY NICE TIME. Top 5 for sure there, haven't checked the list but I know that only Jspoon and myself have run quicker times than that from memory.

*checks list* Yep, #5 in the list for you mate. Just beat stidriver's Accord V6, and slip in behind Jspoon's ITR DC5. I'll have the time in the list within 5 minutes.

the puerto rican genes in me are saying build a second or first gen rx7 with soda botle intakes and run 7's. But gran turismo isnt that realistic. :(
