Well, im not setting any records with my R33 GTR, so ive switched into my Chevelle SS '70, which puts me in direct competition with jetboys437's chevelle SS, and im currently @ 0'9.990!

millisecond by millisecond, my times are falling!

Somehow it's 3kg lighter with stg3 weight reduc than the '92 RZ, and makes 3hp extra. Oh, and it launches harder.

If thats in reply to my query of .200 seconds, the im not expecting a record breaking time, im trying to break into the muscle cars top 13, and 13th place is an SS so it must be possible.

It was.

The 1/4 is all about getting the power down.

Generally, I run something like this:

Spring rates: min/min+1.5
Ride height: max/min
Bound: 1/5
Rebound: 1/10
Toe: 0/0
Camber: 0/0
Stabilizers: 1/6.

Well i re-ran in a drag skyline that i bought and was saving money purely so i could get it finished for 2008, so on my first run i ran:



thats a 0'08.443

That puts me in 11th in the 4WD list.

And im happy with that, though im running on a stock LSD and i need to sort my spring rate out a bit, but with it all finished im hoping to claim top 5.

I got an 8.595 in my RX7 but thats more of a track car, im using your settings RJ on my R34 GTR. I'll post up my best time once i hit my barrier!

one week ago i moved the setup of my PAL impreza (7.647) on a
NTSC impreza (same model) ....

the times were ..... lower

..i hope to break the 7.5 barrier

NOT the same with the escudo (PAL 7.08)
.... the NTSC needs a different setup (my best 7.184)

It's both. Different surface & elevation changes between the two. The Test Course is the one with elevation changes, Las Vegas is completely flat dimplz.

Test Course - 1.7m elevation
Las Vegas - 0.0m elevation

Did you read that off the main screen? Wouldn't that be talking about the entire test course? As in the banked corners make that elevation change, not the 1/4 mile it self.

I don't know the reason... but i make many runs at every changement
of the setting .. at the end the NTSC Scuby did a best of 7.61x against A PAL 7.647 (repated after 2 years ) ..

Now i start to test a civic ... .. and i've reached (for the moment) the limit .. 11.56x

EDIT ... after the civic ..i've tried the 147GTA

Holdenboy, yes it is off the main screen, but there is a slant on the front straight compared to the back straight, slightly uphill the whole way from all the replay shots and views I've taken of the 1000m runs.

Maybe it's camera angle, but I can get over a 0.1sec advantage on the 1/4 on Las Vegas compared to Test Course with no changes to the car.....the surface change helps that aswell.

Do it at Las Vegas I3igMike33 and it's in there mate. As per the rules, only times run at Las Vegas 400m will be accepted.

And besides, you'll get a few more thousandths shaved off by going there, there's no elevation changes. So that 8.44 at the Test Course could be an 8.43 there.

I'll be waiting for your LV time eagerly.

Corrupted file perhaps?? Either that (which means start over again) or sometimes the MC isn't in the PS2 properly even though it looks like it is and won't load up my save files until I remove it and put it back in.

Ohwell. Not much I can do with the time though. I didn't make the rules up, I just enforce them.

Hey, just thought I'd participate. I have two qualifying times for the American Musclecar class. I know they aren't the fastest times in the class, but they're enough to get me in the top 10. Plus these times would make me the fastest Charger and Chevelle so far.

Firstly, welcome to the club. The more sprint lovers the better. Also try the 1000m challenge (hosted by mt00) and the 300mph challenge (hosted by Dark Elite) when you have time.

Now to your time.....

*looks at pic* Well, atleast it says Las Vegas. That's good to see....been getting a few PM'd times of Test Course lately. The times are good, updating leaderboard now and you've got 6th and 11th on the board.

For future reference MinusB can you take the photo just after your run in the Session Record screen, that way there's no debates or people complaining about whether the times legit (happens in the other threads sometimes. )

Thank you for the advice. And to think, I had to save, go back to the Vegas strip, view my record times, delete all the cars I didn't want you guys seeing me work with, and then snap a pic. LOL I will do as you ask and take pics from the session screen from now on.
