I recently discovered how you can use icons/emotes/flags in GT Sport from any text chat or entry! I noticed someone else was using it in the comments section, and when I looked at the web version, I noticed this:

It uses a form of "[#X]" with X being a number. I'm really surprised that this is possible!

I compiled a list of what I found so far:

Notes
Seems like the max is 8192 until it will repeat itself.
You will get the same icon if you add increments of 8192 (Look at the second numbers for examples).
For numbers 1-9, the extra 0 isn't needed ([#1] is the same as [#01]).
There is a small left arrow on your PS4 Keyboard, when pressing L2+Triangle, that is the same as inputting a "9" ([#←] is the same as [#9]).

*This is very unnoticeable with the eye in the text chat, so I decided to set it as the room title to make the icon bigger. In the victory screen, it looks more obvious.

That's cool to know, thank you man!!

All in the credits section, also it turns out Daiki Kasho was a sound designer in this game,. don't believe me, look it up in the credits.

Great bump, never saw this thread before and I had wondered how people snuck those extra logos into their welcome messages, etc. Should be stickied IMO 👍

Also,

[#64] Suzuki (as in bikes referring to TT 2, I'm aware we already have a Swift in the game)
[#65] Omega (I assume referring to Omega Boost)
[#72] Lotus Cars Official Licensing Product

Speculation crew, where you at?

Fairly sure I saw a Jaguar logo yesterday (someone saying hi in a sport race)...... anyone know what number that might be?

I don't remember seeing a Jaguar emote, do you remember the username for that person?
No I don't unfortunately..... it came up as everyone was signing in and saying hello! Just saw a jag symbol next to a message whizzing up the screen.

I haven't found any new icons, however I made an interesting discovery. The icons seems to be placed by adding increments of 8192 from their numbers. For example, GT Sport will also display the US Flag (#170) if you add 8192 to that number (#8362). And it will continue if you add 8192 again to the previous number (#16554), and I believe it continues from there. I've updated the list to include an example when adding 8192 to the numbers once.

EDIT There is a new one I found! I'll update here when I'm done finding any more.
EDIT #2 Here's what I found after searching up to [#10000]:
Seems like the max amount of icon slots is 8192. It will just repeat itself similar to what I've explained above.
There is a small left arrow on the PS4 Keyboard, when pressing L2+Triangle, that is the same as inputting a "9" ([#←] is the same as [#9]).

It's the one that's highlighted.

It was pretty interesting when I got to the 4000s where there were many icons displayed as blank in GT Sport. Surprisingly, [#4097] caught my eye as it would just display "fi" in normal text. Everything is now updated from the original post.
