Hi all...

Got it using the Corvette with 2 stops at 20 and 40 minute mark, running on racing mediums in all stints. Fastest lap around 1'57, but the overall pace was 58 and 59.

Passed the Huracán on the last lap, at the banked corner (hairpin?)...

It was the second attempt in the Vette. In the first one, right before, I tried one stop on racing hards, but couldn't keep up with the M6 at the end...

The toughest endurance so far indeed. But I guess the changing weather of some other events make them more interesting races.

Good luck everyone!

Edit: oh, I forgot to add that counter steering assistance make the slow corner (2nd) even slower. Turning it off improved the lap times instantly!

This event was truly cursed for me. After the first run where I was unceremoniously dumped by the M6 on the last lap I then won the race on the second attempt only to have the dreaded “game is offline” message and lose the win!

Third time was a charm though.

2 stop strategy going all out in the GT-R on med’s.

Eyeballing the pace I would say the following if you‘re doing the 2 stop Med strategy and your ‘best’ lap is in the following bracket:

1:56 - Easy win 20s+ you will find this a fairly simple race. The BMW may give you a hard time first stint but you’ll drop him after.
1:57 - Under 10 second margin to win, any major mistake can only happen once and if it costs more than 10 seconds you will lose.
1:58 - You can do it but it will be a very close race. You will need to be extremely consistent with no mistakes.
1:59 - This is too slow to win without some outside help. You’ll need the fast cars to be significantly slowed up or sent off course.

It was annoying to have to run this three times because of various issues but it was interesting to see my own improvement after 3hrs at the track.

On my first attempt I was in the 1:58 approx for raw pace and it was very, very close. Arguably the AI were faster, without the BMW being checked up in the last stint I doubt I’d have had the shot at the win.

Second attempt I was 1:57‘s area and it was fairly straightforward but I only really escaped after the final pitstop before pulling a gap.

Third attempt when I was in the 1:56’s for numerous laps and ran a best of 1:56.4 I felt I comfortably had the edge over the AI. After the first pitstop I never saw the BMW again and just continuously gapped the field there after .

My race ended up being super close. Late in the race Rubilar decided to hit me like a pool ball in turn one, but I kept going. That put me back to 6th place after the ai had all made their second pit. I was back in first on the second to last lap but was super low on fuel because I only made one stop, I had to coast across the line. Hard race but had a lot of fun.
Wow..thrilling, that was close! Must have been a good race though! haha, good job!

Did you save the replay of the race? Would you be able to post your best lap somewhere?

My best result is 9th. I am not doing this race or any other endurance event currently available (or future 24h events) untill they change the contact physics - script cars (there is no AI in this game, everything is scripted AF) just slightly touch you and you end up spinning and in the barrier - race over - while you can ram scripts as much as you want and all that happens is they save it no mather what and you still end up off track since direction of your driving vector is not changed at all, you are going straight and can't do anything, steering does not work for few seconds after ram/touch. I understand they want to make players not ram scripts, but it is not acceptable for them to touch you then - however, since they are scripts, they don't even know you are there and they stay on the line no matter what.

I just completed the race with the RCZ (easy to drive also after 8-9 laps with medium tyres). I consistently had 1.58 (with a safe TC 1, not needed if you need to push hard) for most of my laps, pit every 20 minutes. Had Gallo behind me for last 7 laps, he was faster then me but I was able to keep him behind, plus he did a 3rd stop before starting the last lap when he was 0.2s away from me! Extremely funny anyway

Finally won the race, using Beetle and 2 stop medium. had one 57.1 lap but mostly high 58s and low 59s

Won by 1.1 sec and my secret is to punt M6 cleanly at the down hill hair pin so he will lose 3 to 4 sec lol

Also had to preciously calculate how many fuel i needed to complete the race, otherwise i would have lost

Yeah, it was a nerve wracking last few seconds lol. I ran out of fuel gassing it out of the last turn and was just watching the ai close in on me.
That is so close! I would've been watching my mirror for the AI to try to get in its way haha.

Another one by less than a second. I won by about six second and I was sweating bullets.

Perseverance pays off! I don't think I'd have it in me to do it three times. Would be much more motivated to try them over and over if there was a payout each time... but that's another topic all together.

It's interesting many of you are saying the BMW was the car giving you a hard time; in my race it was a non-contender. For me, it was the Merc that was the dominant car, and eventually the Renault but he didn't pit at all (?) so he wasn't fast at the end but still finished P2 (and held off the Merc for me on the last few laps as it was much faster).

I think GT knocked it out of the park with some of these (although, again, they should be events and not missions but I digress). It's really cool to come into these endurance threads and see everyone's different strats with different cars getting results.

Yeah I agree. Kind of a shame we can't repeat them for credits.

I've done this race a bunch of times and the ending grid has been a little different each time. The AMG and BMW always carve through the field up to their first pit, but things get mixed up after that with many different AI cars capable of winning. The first time I completed this event I thought the BMW/AMG were the only ones meant to win and wasted a lot of pace defending them, only to find myself in P5 at the end.

Done today with the 911 RSR stock settings. Starting on RH which felt slow but had next to no tyre wear, pitted once at the 30 minute mark from 2nd place and switched to RM. The pace initially was great doing 1:57/58s but they wear out so much faster and it was a case of holding on until the end, the AMG was catching up really fast and the gap finished 0.3 seconds. A very fun race all in all!

Nice work guys, I completed all missions gold today, the endurance races are quite fun to do, altho Alsace is jus tot my circuit, don't know why, so right know CE time 😀

Just won this and would classify it as one of my greatest GT moments. Ran the one stop with the RCZ and lap times were 1:59s and 2.00s. Once Rubilar had done his final stop, I had a cushion of around 20s but it was coming down lap on lap... Then I kept caught backmarkers in the flowing left-right section before the banked hairpin for 2 laps in a row, gap was down to around 3 seconds with 3 laps to go. I was prepared to get my elbows out and punt the M6 if I had to ( 3rd attempt to gold this race) and then his tyres went! Finished with 6 seconds in hand. Experience was out of this world and I might just run the race again it was that enjoyable

Tried multiple times to use the RCZ but could not turn consistently fast laps. I consider myself at least a solid b+ racer but was unable to manage the cars tendency of lift off oversteer and be confident to drive near its limits.

After 4 days of trying, I won using the Jag with the RM 2 stop strategy.

Had not seen the Jag mentioned in the thread but if you are still struggling its worth trying.

RCZ feels great to me but its inability to handle the slightest of curb kills my 20th attempt.
How i can circuit experience this gold in a alpha on hard tyres at below 58.... yet nit average less than 2.03s on mediums in the same car is also beyond me.

Hopefully just keep trying diffrent cars till one suit's me

Fml

I hope you find a car that suits you soon. For what its worth here are other Gr 3 cars I tried using besides the RCZ.

Mazda VGT concept stealth
Porsche
Viper
Vette

For me the Viper and Vette were the next best options after the Jag

Tried this first with the WRX with RH > RH, fuel map between 3-6, 1 stop strategy. Consistent 2:00-2:01 without a single error, basically a perfect race bar some poor driving. Result was 7th and some 30~s behind 1st place. Basically impossible - do not even bother trying this. It may be possible to do RH > RM, fuel map 6 1 stop strategy as the RH lasts incredibly long, and fuel can be managed for around 20 laps. I still do not think it will be fast enough.

Second attempt with the RCZ with RM > RM > RM, fuel map 1, 2 stop strategy. Consistent 1:57s with 1 minor error (about 2-3s loss), best lap low 1:56. Result was 1st with 19s gap to the M6. The race was quite easy with the RCZ and this strategy.

Edit: Both attempts on normal difficulty for anyone interested.

Indeed, i did not have any real trouble getting the gold with the RCZ, dream to drive!, nicely done!

Does anyone know if the ‘reverse difficulty’ bug is still a thing with this? Easy being impossible, hard being easy?

Just did two full runs on this on Easy and Hard and in all honesty the difficulty felt completely the same.

Tried a one-stop run on hards in the 911RSR - first race (Easy AI) averaged low 1.59 on Mode 2 and came 7th, 32 seconds behind the winner. Quickest AI lap was a 1.56.2

Tried the same strategy again on Hard AI. Was about the same pace (with a bunch of mid 1.58 sprinkled in) and finished 4th, 28 seconds behind the winner. Fastest AI lap was a 1.56.2

Compared to the other Human Comedy missions, this is VERY tough. Always felt like I could get the Nordeschleife Circuit Experience and License S-10 Golds. Genuinely uncertain I’ll ever be able to Gold this enduro!

Watched a few videos online. One suggested the Renault but it handles like a bag of broken glass. Noticed the RCZ is popular so might try that with a 2-stop next.

Some say that’s a myth. I’ve been doing them on Normal just in case 😂

That should work, it is still a MR car so you have to get used to it, but when you master it it is very fast, plus playing with your TCS along the way, off in the beginning and when the tires are shredding crack it up to 1 or 2 ,countersteering off, you should win quite easly with a 2 stopper

i tried about 5 times to beat this & either the AI ran away uncontrollably or the AI assaulted me & one time I pitted in 1st place, clicked to fit new tyres & the crew refused to fit new tyres, by the time i noticed they werent doing anything id lost too much time, pressed "dont change" & then they started slowly refuelling. AI is a sob.

PD needs to fix this. Seems like the BMW have way more horse power and they are in the pits in very least amount of time. They are in pits like 10 seconds while it takes me up to nearly 30 seconds to get my tires and gas filled. I have tried the BMW Z4 and i am down 1 minute with 20 minutes left. This is crazy 3 cars out of 20 got impossible speeds.

This is the way to go if anyone is struggling. Try TCS 1 or 2 with the RCZ if it's too difficult to drive. It's quite clear that some cars are not capable of winning this race regardless of how well you drive, unless you get incredibly lucky with traffic. It's rather annoying that any Gr3 car can be entered but few can genuinely participate, especially when just about any car can win the Red Bull ring race.
