Wow. Beautiful Scirrocco (white on white). Did you swap anything into them, of just used an HP Multiplier and different drivetrains?

EDIT
@jtqmopar, so far, no. I'm also getting the hiss. I'm working with every stock turbo out there, and still, no luck.

I've only tried the esprit high rpm turbo on it. I can only think it's because of some different car data for it being dlc. Maybe swapping exhaust from the 670 Lambo or even the NOMAD (I don't know if it can be done though as most stock race car parts I haven't found a way of swapping onto other cars)
Back to the showcasing!
The TT Aventador having fun in Rome. This car is an absolute monster with no engine tuning and 1006hp on sports soft tires it eats corners and needs to brake much, much earlier than usual.

A high rpm supra turbo on a 458 with sports exhaust is amazing. Even on sports hard tires. The photos were from playing around, but it would stick to the track if I wanted it to. Almost as much fun as my ZR1

No HP Multiplier all Engine swap ;)

👍
Oh :dunce:

I noticed something similar with my 4WD DC5, has an N/A V6 from an Accord, but after the 4WD swap it actually felt quite sluggish, don't know what that's about. Confusing the game I guess.

Well now it's fix and works like a champ, used a AEM S2000 engine swap, works great with the 4WD

And Had this laying in the garage with no engine!

What chassis did you use for Scirrocco (white on white)

Has anyone had success with getting the Aventador to have turbos (high rpm) and an exhaust note? I put the premium esprit turbo and controller on it and got slight exhaust noise, but mostly turbo and the hybrid hiss

I don't think it's possible, unless you do engine swap from Murcielago for example. Some car engine won't take turbo properly - loses exhaust sound, ZR1'09, GT86/BRZ/FRS trio, Ford GT.

Swapping engine from cars that only have certain exhaust ( semi racing or racing )- mostly tuner car or race cars, you need to fit appropriate exhaust to make the sound works on the receiving car.

With my Aventador LP-900TT, I used the V12 out of the Lambo SV..

Thanks for the chassis. Perfect fit, but, I'm stuck on the Turbo's. I accidentally bought one of the Turbo's offered by the tuning garage, and now I can't install a Mid Range TT from a Supra... stuck at 390HP :(

Awesome sound though...

Jaguar XJ220 Concept '88

XJR-9 engine, R8 drivetrain & LSD, weight increased to 1560kg in-game.

An attempt to recreate the V12 concept vehicle, but since there's currently no way to reduce power except the curve-ruining in-game option, the car is... a bit overpowered, rated at 961hp. Most parts of the car are intentionally left stock.

... Yes, the car looks exactly the same outside. There's no way to enlarge it to its real life dimensions. *shrug*

What chassis will best fit the rx7 spirit r with minimal poke (preferably none) and not sacrifice the handling? I wouldn't mind a wider wheelbase but I don't want any poke..

You won't get a sound without a turbo engine swapped in. N/A engine and turbo = no engine sound.

This is so wrong, N/A engine that can't be turbocharged in GT5 can have turbo installed and still have sound ( most of them ), I have so many N/A cars that have turbo upgrades- Acura NSX, Miura, Countach, 512BB, Murcielago, 458 Italia etc, and they all have exhaust sound and epic turbo noise. Some N/A cars loses exhaust when turbocharged.

I have Ford GT with twincharger, engine swap from same size V8 which cannot be turbocharged, it has exhaust sound and both supercharger and turbo sound, sweet.

Made this VIP monster
All engine bits are off Spoon S2000, pushing mighty 400HP
SL55 AMG Chassis
On Speed 8 Suspension (for a more low look, hence VIP style)

That's what I'm talking about. I'd so rather see cars that never get used upgraded like this so they are at least somewhat competitive online.

Using original engine, no, it doesn't, no exhaust sound, tested.

Hmm...I should write down what I do then. I could have sworn that's what I did. I must be confused with another car. I've got hundred of hybrids now.

EDIT: Checked it in game. Mine definitely has a different engine sound. You can hear the turbo whine. There isn't a pop off sound it that's what you mean.

Slight update.

Swapped the XJR9 V12 away for the Lister Storm version of it. Just outputs 623hp and 824nm now, still 100hp higher than the RL concept car's supposed power but I'm afraid this is the closest I can get with a Jaguar V12 that's in the game. (Besides, the car would totally suck compared with the production model if I went with the concept car power figures)

Fun fact: Top speed is 333km/h or 206mph, which is still lower than the real life production car record of 213mph (342km/h), but is higher than the in-game production model which only runs at 320km/h or 199mph. The real-life concept would presumably run even slower, which makes me question whether Jaguar's goal of a 220mph production car with their hardware back then was even plausible.

Aventador original engine loses exhaust sound, no matter which exhaust is fitted. If you hear exhaust noise in chase cam, then the engine must have been swapped :) Everything else - sound wise, works if made properly - turbo and BOV sound as well as popping sound on certain exhaust ( usually sports exhaust has downshift crackle/pop )

My newest project....

Honda Ballade Sports CR-X ZC TT

Powered by a Twin Turbo'd 2nd gen CR-X ZC motor making about 220 HP @ 7500 RPM from the original 108HP.

Torque is 174 ft-lb @ 5100 RPM from the original 98.8 ft-lb.

805kg for that extra punch off the line :sly:

With the Titanium Semi-Racing Exhaust you can hear the Turbo and BOV which is AMAZING!! Plus, you've got that mean Honda sound.

Stock transmission extended, the gap between gears gives an authentic Honda Street Racer feel - NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH A RICER!

A little camber, and this is a beautiful car - in my eyes.

Battery and parts sold seperately. Find this at your local store parking lot.

After this, I'm making a Honda CR-X SiR with a K20 TT swap.

Couple Cudas I've been working on. Just a wing delete and some additional lowering(thanks Bentley). Oh, and some interesting paint schemes too.
