It doesn't really remove the stripes, it just paints over them makibg them barely visable. Thats the case with the Chevelle and other cars with stripes. The darker you paint the car, the less visable the stripes are.

Ok. I just wondered why those were so vivid.

Yeah, my standard 1969 Z28 Camaro looks like the Chevelle when you paint it too.

By the way, you haven't has anymore problems with painting since I helped you a while back?

I never had the desire to purchase one of these, but ever since this hybrid wave has started with custom painted Amemiya RX-7s, I really want to have one of my own! We should be able to paint these!

According to a friend of mine who loves Mazdas, the real life Amemiya FD3S actually comes in quite a wide array of colors. Not sure why the one in GT5 only comes in blue.
Funny thing, when you paint the FD3S in this game, the logos change colors as well. Bright colors=Black logos, while dark colors=White logos. It's like we were supposed to be able to paint it normally.

Already did use green for the Amemiya with Dark Green Mica (Mazda). Based on the Amemiya Street Beat 7 (Green FD with Porsche Lights) and Amemiya Greddy 9.
