You can tell if they actually gotten all the cars without rubber banding, or SSR 7 glitch, by looking at how many miles they driven, I'm on my to get all the cars, but it's hard to afford all the expensive cars, not sure if it's a lot, but it's the most outta my friend list but I have over 80,000 miles total driven, and that Guy on the list is one of my friends and I have a lot more miles driven then him. Just saying

Not quite... I have 600,000 miles in my main account and 15 secondary accounts for a combine mileage of 3,786,000 miles. :drool: thank god for bonus races..

I would race the Formula GT Championship to make enough money to buy most of the cars in UCD.

I made a backup of my save game every day as a precaution against corruption.
Just for kicks, I kept each day's files on my computer.
I could go back to any day since the game came out!
To illustrate your point about it being quite hard to find some cars, take a look at my progress.
100 cars - Day 8
250 cars - Day 13
500 cars - Day 19
750 cars - Day 26
1000 cars - Day 39
1061 cars - Day 62

That includes all 1031 unique models, all Nascar, FGT, and X1 variants, and the GT Academy cars.
Those last 70 or so cars were such a pain in the ass.

That does not sound right...how could get you so much money to have 100 cars by day8????
 
Well, first off, those numbers are based off daily games saves.
If you recall, you could not backup your save game when it first came out.
I don't remember exactly when the update was released that allowed save game backups, but I got the game on release day and played every day.

BTW, just checked and I'm at 85K miles driven.

Quite easy really - when you first start there'll be tons of cheap cars in the UCD, plus the licenses and races will award them regularly to a beginner - I probably averaged closer to 30 a day for the first week - I thought I'd be able to get them all in about a month! :crazy:

That's where my "cheating" started.
I traded for 39 cars, each time restoring my save game so I didn't lose the one I sent.
I honestly don't feel bad at all that I had to do that to get 39 out of 1068 cars.
For all the rest it was all grinding. And no rubber banding. Didn't find out about it until too late!
My PS3 basically ran 24/7 for those 2 months.
Anytime when I wasn't playing, it was running B-Spec races.
I can't even imagine how many times Bob ran the 9 Hour Tsukuba race.
It was a perfect race to run right before bed, restart in the morning, come home in the evening and play some and maybe run some Dream Car B-Spec when I watched TV, and then rinse and repeat.
I obtained the last car on February 24th and I think my PS3 has been turned on only 1 or 2 hours per day since then!

Now that I give props to (I also feel bad for your PS3, she's quite a proven work mule. ) trading ain't cheating and the lil trick to keep your car is IMO not the same as rubberbanding (others may disagree) I only wish I had more time to play. Work in the day and school at night leaves me with only a few hours a week to play.
 
I killed my old phat PS3 with GT5, I did manage to get it going and trade it in for a slim but took a £25 trade in hit so I could transfer my savegame over to the new console before getting cash for my old machine...

I was there since January. Just waiting for save option to go platnium. To the OP you should check correctly since there are 1034 unique cars. Remember the academy 370z that you can only get through ticket

Last real Club would be 100% game club (while there is no cheats to do 100%) and do 100% is realy achievement and its hard.. so best players and most respectfull would be "100% club" :) 👍 this list what we have here is just worth crap to be honest :) whatever you say against me its still true, and I dont like it.. I do try to get every car and complete 100% without any cheat and glich stuff.. but others can achieve it 100 times faster than hardcore players.. so its no "club" anymore.. people get in "club" only by honest ways.. everyone who cheats are not club members for sure (not in GTP case anyway) (PS. not saying that you cheated (probably and obviously are) but still not saying officially) you did say you have no life.. anyway that other guys in that list are bunch of glichers obviously.... (sorry for those if its not true) but I like to be fair in every way, and say what I have to say, even if it sounds bad!

What mentally-balanced person cares, wether somebody "cheated" or "earned it by playing the game for 1 million hours"?

If somebody has every car, he has every car, it's that simple.

And by the way, I do not understand what is so noble about playing the game for like 1000's of hours to get the cars "fairly"? It's just time wasting and not necessary, I want all the cars to play with them. (Wether I will actually use them all is questionable though, still nice to have them all.)
 
pff, no glitch here and no rubber band.. And im 1335ish cars and always going up :) I have also nearly all of the un-paintable standards to. I have traded about 70times before the 20mil limit came into force.

My bob's have done most of the grinding for all the cars (dream car championship) I must have done it hundreds and hundreds of times lol. I do have alot of duplictates of cars I mod so I can keep one standard also alot of BMW's models in most colours they come in (im a big fan).

@ Mario2Lopez I find the milage numbers you come up with nearly impossible. Ud have to have alot of PS3's and have had them running pretty much non-stop since day of release. I guess you don't sleep (even with bob's)

It's just that's it's not worth creating a "club" over when any Cheater can do it. It becomes something different when done legit, then you know they made an achievement most others will not achieve.

Cool man, no hard feelings, not personal, just might not be as well received on the board as a legit club. Be prepared for criticism on a forum, keep chin up too it's hard not to sound like a dick when giving opposing feedback even though your not trying to be so most people who don't like the idea are most probably not trying to be a dick about it.

While I don't completely agree with all aspects of the OP's post either, I don't really see why it's bugging you so much that you should persist with your negative replies.

You're just causing unnecessary friction and I'm pretty sure there's something else you could be spending your time on.

its cool, just saying the club is pointless, and thats why I dont play game over 1000 hours, there is no point to get every car in the game now :) I just buy all cars I like or want.. not every car.. no every cars ovners are just glichers.. dont want to be called like that. (like in MW2, all rank 10 players was cheaters, thats why I stayed on rank 9) lol :D I know im weird @ some point.. but I just like to do all stuff fair and simple and want to keep around me only fair community and players. I still work and have family :) so lack of time is no excuse.. 👍 anyway I do understand you.. just saying my opinion.. "pointless club" no offence mate! 👍
 
I owned every car in gt4 all with EVERY single upgrade.

ALL CARS ALL UPGRADES ON EACH CAR. All tires turbos trans's etc.

Who else has done that.

And I'll do it with gt5 also.

I'm happy to own all cars and yes I glitched and proud. Now all I have to do is tune and drive.

Been playing since the game came out, n i only have but 500 cars, BECAUSE I see my girlfriend more.... :)
 
I have had them all for a long time, including the Stealth & Chromeline cars, the only 2 cars I do not have are the gamestop nascar & the edge camaro which you can't have in PAL region. Currently collecting different colours of certain cars, have in total 1486 cars in the garage. 👍
 
Crazy. I don't count the gamestop cars and all btw., only the ordinary cars from the game itself. But yeah, you're name goes on the board. 👍
 
Mhkay, right, it's actually easy. Take a rubber band, put it around the richt analog stick and the body of the controller in a way, that there is tension and the stick shows up, then start with the X1 the Indy race in the GT mode, and the car will accelerate by itself and grind along the wall and will win the race. Like that, you don't have to drive.

Trying to collect all cars in all colors, total of 8544 unique cars, and still buying any new colors that show up in the UCD.
Save #1: All American Cars (in various colors) 1659 cars
Save #2: All Tuner/Race cars (in various colors) 1573 cars
Save #3 Partial Japanese cars (in various colors) 1893 cars
Save #4 Honda, Nissan cars (in various colors) 1592 cars
Save #5 Europe (in various colors) 1827 cars
I also have over 12000 paint chips, all museum cards, all horns.
over 400 1000 tickets and most of the birthday tickets ( need 2010 and 2002 if anyone wants to help).
I haven't shut off my PS3/GT5 since Nov 29th
I don't dupe or glitch, but thank you INDY and rubber bands.

I own every car in the game except for a few DLC, I am NTSC so it makes it hard to get some of the stealths, European GT Academy, and the Jaguar chromeline.
 
I'm going for the 1031, doing it the slow way.
Only buying standards with less than 5000km on the clock.
Give me 18 months or so and I might be nearly there:sly:
