the "just plain ugly" car thread

I said one of the most, not the most.

I see. I can understand it being the most stylish 90's Dodge. But whatever, we've been off topic for quite a long time.

Why. Ford of Europe made only 1 car I don't want to look at, while they decide to make me hurl at the sight of the first iterations of the Edge, Flex, and the sinful post F-150 style Explorer in the US.

Wow. Scion really hates us. Good thing Toyota hated them enough to kill off the brand itself!

Thank you @Famine for introducing me to the term "Shatchbacks". Because that's what this is. It ruins the quite decent proportions of the Fiesta hatch by putting way too much visual weight directly above the rear wheels. An awful, pinched turd of a car.

You're doing it wrong, Malibu.

To continue on @SlipZtrEm 's about half hatch half sedan, I give you the coupback. This, to me at least, is the worst offender of all the cars that are wannabe hatches or wannabe sedans/coupes.

*SHUDDER*

Makes me think of this thing somehow

What bothers me with these is that I see more of them over the hatch. I drive a '15 Fiesta hatch at work (along with a '14 Frontier, and a '12 Versa hatch I try to avoid ). I just don't see what the general population sees in the sedan.

Get outta' town, how is that ugly? If anything, it is one of the more stylish Dodges produced.

I have to really disagree with you. I said it's not ugly to me, but I wouldn't call that STYLISH, No, not at all! It looks alright sure, but stylish? You what, mate?

If that thing is one of the most stylish Dodge, then I'd be proud to say the AMC Pacer and Gremlin are the prettiest AMC cars, of all time. I love them, but I respect their opinions.

EDIT: Also, what the **** is that abomination. Please freaking tell me that thing doesn't exist..I almost got a headache..please..be a god damn 'shop..

If you're referring to the spoiler I put up, which I think you are, I must unfortunately confirm that it is not a photoshop car and is in fact real. I did title the spoiler, "Open at your own risk"

Had to put it under a Tag. This car is NSFW ugly.

The front is just as Hideous

A lot of concepts back then were pretty futuristic looking.
Futuristic cars of the 70's' like the Lancia Bertone Stratos, Dome Zero, Citroen Karin, and Maserati Boomerang were mostly good looking. The Ferrari is an exception, because it's an ugly overstyled mess.

Its turning circle was also the size of a small country.

Ferrari 512S Modulo Concept. Was the stylist drunk when he designed this car?

I'd have one. It looks pretty interesting to me.

Found me a 50's oddity here then, concept car too. Some were pretty, some, obscure. Like this.

Kaiser Waimea minivan

I can't look at it straight for even 30 seconds or less. It hurts my eyes a bit.

My eyes takes it in like a fine wine, bitter yet sweet. Okay, not that sweet since it's yellow like a lemon. And did they really call it a Kaiser Waimea Minivan? I thought Chrysler invented that term in the 80's.

That "minivan" reminds in no way of Hawaii.

I saw all three of these cars today. Each one made cringe harder than the last.

Introducing the worst offender: Nissan Joke Juke

Though looking at the Cayenne, I can't believe I'm saying this but, maybe it's not as ugly I thought it was. The front/nose of it, I'm getting used to that. Compared to that Juke, Cayenne does at least stand out.

On the talk of big vehicles, foudn this. A Lincoln Blackwood.

It looks bad.
