Of all Monaros, this is the greatest and purest of them all...

That's what I call the greatest Monaro...

I beg to differ, the CV8-Z was built after the original last Torana, forgot what it was called though.

Ummm..... last time I checked the CTS and STS are front wheel drive.
I'd check again. STS has been rear-drive for two years, and CTS has always been rear-drive, even back when it was called the Catera, which debuted in 1997.

I think most people go with RWD in most circumstances, as I've only seen one AWD STS, and that was a V8 model.

Think that's gonna depend on where you live - I've never seen a non-AWD STS V8, and my dealer (it's a Cadillac-Volvo dealer, if you can believe it, and here's the kicker: there's a couple down my block with a V70 and a Deville) told me they typically only order RWD ones when the customer has specified it. The local Mercedes dealer told me they've never ordered a non-4matic E-class (since the model change in '03), and since they've said that I've been looking - and I haven't seen a non-4matic E-class.

Re: the M5, the trunklid spoiler and lowered stance, along with the wheels are a dead give away.

But, I cheated, I used to own an 88 535i.

I'm not following what you mean? The last CV8-Z was 2005 model, last Torana was 1980 (excluding the concept), of course CV8-Z was made after the Torana.
