And their horrid performance in TUSC was due to...?
First year for the car, and the other guys are actually good too

What? That makes no sense what so ever, considering I actually have followed that team since it started that excuse doesn't mean anything (if at all since it seems out of place). Also taking into consideration that prior to this race they were the leaders in the championship and have won the most races of their class...perhaps you'd like to try again?
If you know then why ask a stupid question. You're the team expert.
No need to watch it to have a quick 30 second look on any one of the number of racing sites, Sportscar365, Racer, Dailysportscar, etc all reported they've been hit with BOP adjustments. As for this race, I think the red flag caught them out and they lost 2 laps for some reason.
For someone that follows the team and with your screen name you think you might know about the BOP adjustment they got hit with.
Will just sit here in turn 15 and follow the race
This night racing is amazing!!!Let's go Audi!!!
Well, come Fuji, Toyota will probably win that one. Nakajima is a beast there, I don't know why he was replaced for COTA though....
The #7 TS040 HYBRID has a revised driver line-up this weekend, with Mike Conway replacing Kazuki Nakajima, who has schedule conflicts with his Japanese racing commitments.
Fuji is a power track Id be surprised if it didn't win there.Well, come Fuji, Toyota will probably win that one. Nakajima is a beast there, I don't know why he was replaced for COTA though....
So looking back, Toyota #7 got put a lap down because they were IN THE PITS when the red flag came out. They didnt pit DURING RED, but before it. As did the Vette. Whats sad is that other cars that lost laps like Porsche were pulled out the gravel and allowed to stay on the lead lap or start ahead! Very confusing and frustrating.
Thank you, that's exactly how I feel. Fox Sports should save us all the pain and hand over their contracts to NBC, CBS, and MAVtv.I was skeptical when I learned that Fox Sports would be showing the race, and having just watched the recording on the family DVR I realize that my fears were justified. The first two hours of the program were replaced with a football game that I assume went over schedule. WAY over schedule. I fast-forward and see that the race was red-flagged, but the announcers talk about how the opening two hours were very exciting! Well I'm glad I missed it, then.
It was good racing once it went green, but I'm hating Fox Sports with a passion. NBC, CBS, and MAVtv handle racing far better than Fox did even when it was still Speed. Just embarrassing. Fox should just step aside and leave motorsports to everyone else since they obviously don't care about it.
Radio Le Mans clearly explained the rules though.
The rules have nothing to do with what I posted. Im just clarifying for people thatre thinking they (Toyota and Vette) lost a lap by pitting under a red flag. But they pit before the red flag and were told to stay in the pits because the race director decided to red flag the race just then. Meanwhile recovered cars which were stuck were allowed to line up on the track. The rule is broken and gave advantage to cars that were unable to run and were pulled on track. Those cars were behind on track but since the pits were now closed they had to line up before the start line. The rules state that cars already in the pits when a red flag is then declared will be reshuffled.Radio Le Mans clearly explained the rules though.
Okay now that's.....HA!Maybe those guys were installing rudders for those conditions making them illegal
Wednesday night... big news about Brabham... do I mean Brabham, the driver or the make? Maybe bit of both
