Sounds abit bloodhound.
As I predicted - David Brabham on Midweek Motorsport. He has got the Brabham name back from a German group after a seven year legal battle and to motorsport, specifically the WEC. David is aiming for an LMP2 model and then LMP1. However they are going for community funding / involvement as a quote "open source racing" model so everyone involved from engineer to fan can get involved.
Edit / Updates:
Engineering students helping on an LMP1? OMG.
3 Years in P2 first probably.

So basically, a Real life Project CARS. Still, great news to hear 👍
They're up to £12,000 in five hours - it was announced at 7:00am AEST, so I doubt most of Europe have seen this.Already raised 3,000 dollars in last hour. 250k initial goal.
Eh? I wonder what they'll come up with.
You would think after the first season of returning to a category for the first time in a long while with a car that the last thing you'd want to do is suddenly scrap it for something new. Then again, this wouldn't be the first time Porsche suddenly said "You know what, let's start over"
Keep in mind, that was with a car that was already winning to begin with.
Russian Grand Prix, too.Just had a look at my Motorsport calender wec Fuji, bathurst 1000 and BTCC brands hatch all on the 12th! That's going to be one tiring day!
I was mainly talking about things that may be exciting to watch.....Russian Grand Prix, too.
Have you ever seen a race at Fuji that wasn't rained out?I was mainly talking about things that may be exciting to watch.....
That's what makes it exciting, I hear they applied to host the next americas cup too.Have you ever seen a race at Fuji that wasn't rained out?
Even if the car runs flawless through all 24 hours, the teams have to pretty much rebuild the entire car from the ground up after. That takes time^Why is there always such a massive gap after Le Mans?
Audi rebuilt an entire car in 12 hours......Even if the car runs flawless through all 24 hours, the teams have to pretty much rebuild the entire car from the ground up after. That takes time
Because LeMans is treated as the end of the first part of the season. The second part of the season starts after that break.^Why is there always such a massive gap after Le Mans?
