Description: The first of the two top secret 750 PP cars is here for the general public to get and drive. For the first time in a little while now TLD has got something it is overwhelmingly proud of, this little Elise is incredible. Super easy to use, very competitive, and above all makes cornering look like it is easier than first grade maths. The car has work to the suspension that not only makes it more stable, but easier to tun over bumps and kerbs in, meaning you will be hard put making mistakes in this machine. Enjoy the TLD Elise 111R/Tuned, possibly the best handling car out there to date.
Holden, Yet another wonderful job!!!!!!! This is a very sweet handling machine. I"m a truck driver and gone a lot and don"t have much time for tuneing. I"m running all you setups and they are all great!! Thanks for all your hard work!!! It is much appreciated.👍

Correct mate.... i spend a fair bit of time here in Brisbane out at Queensland Raceway crewing for a mate who runs a Porsche 997 GT3 CupCar...... we run into a lot of boys from the Lotus Club who run Elises, and the general consensus is neutral toe in the rear (QLD Raceway is a bitch for stability under braking and cornering load), as the rule of thumb is that they tune through the front of the car relating to toe, leaving the rear largely untouched...... spring rates, damper etc etc are a whole different ballgame.

I'm far from an expert in this game, but i generally try to apply what i've seen in the real world of racing.

What? Really? If you spend a lot of time at Queensland Raceway we should meet up there some time.:dopey: It's only around 15-20mins drive from where I live.:D

Glad I could be of service.:) I hope you get paid a lot of money being a truck driver, I hear that the cost of diesel is making it really hard for private delivery services with trucks. I hope when GT5 comes along I'll be getting the statement "Holden, yet another wonderful Holden!!!!!!!":D

I usually do not give up props, but I need to admit The Lion's Den tuning specs are dead on. You guys have definately gotten my respect and I haven't even raced any of you guys yet. See you on the tracks.

Thanks for the props.:) Unfortunately you and I won't meet on track because we have different versions of the game.

If I may throw in a request, my vote would go to the Ferrari 599 I know it is on your request list, would like my vote on that car too. It is a beauty, sounds excellent but handles not so quite excellently on stock settings. But I know if you put your fingers on it, It will be the beast it is supposed to be :)

Description: I promised a fast car and I like to deliver, so here is the R35 GT-R capable in just about every race of winning. The Lion's Den has removed some of the chubby weight, and the power has been increased considerably. This car will make V-Spec look soft. One of the biggest problems with this car was the rear sliding out under brakes so easily, this problem has been rectified and the rear now only slides out if you push the car too hard and brake too late. I've enjoyed racing this car, but I still think the Corvette was under-presented in this game.

I've tuned this car down for 700PP racing, +19 BHP and 85% Weight, and it sits currently at PP699 (I've changed nothing else though). I'd just like to say this car is a joy to drive. It's by far the quicket car in the PP700 class. I haven't lost a race yet because another car has been better. I race mainly on Suzuka, and boy, does this car suit sazuka! I can really throw it into the corners, and accelerate aggressively. It's just incredible and it suits my driving style down to a tee. So thank you very much for a brilliant car, and keep up the good work!

THANK'S HOLDEN 4 ALL THE GREAT WORK YOUR ARE TRULLY NEEDED AND APPRECIATED .

P.S. I CAN't TUNEE FOR MY LIFE BUT THANKS FOR SUPPORTING US DIE HARD DRIVERS:)👍

Remember N4HSPD when i told you of my ills with MR cars.....

That tune is an absolute ball tearer, so neutral off power mid turn in balance, so assured under heavy braking and a missle through 130R. 2nd lap on a free run at Suzuka i ran a 2.06 dead......... i've only ever gone faster in your GTR around there, and that was balls to the wall, not dipping a toe in the water like i was just then with the 111R.

Had to jump back online here to tell you it's a weapon. Serious weapon.

This car surely is something else, and makes for very fun battles. Lose on the straights and win in the corners, very different to others but almost equal in speed.👍 Glad you like it, downforce does wonders on an MR car.;) My fastest car ever was a Cadillac CIEN in ol' GT4.;)

Hi Holden, just wanted to say thanks for posting the 111R! This car has been a personal favorite of mine from the start and your set up made this car seem like it was rolling on velcro.👍👍👍 . Going into Dunlop I can let go of the stick and the car goes on autopilot. 👍 My only problem is I can't seem to break 2'08" on Suzuka. Does it make a big difference if I switch to manual vice automatic and if I get a driving wheel instead of using analog? Man, i wish i could study your ghost on this track bec. I don't see how I can make 2'04":dunce::). Your expert advice is greatly appreciated:)

Well I do use controller myself. MR cars respond better to throttle lift-off than FR or AWD. Try some throttle modulation instead of hitting brakes in some areas.

Thanks to some advice from a loyal and dedicated test driver, the TLD GT LM Spec II has a gearbox tuned to behave like a 4spd, to contain all those ponies and keep the revs right where the power band is. Hope you enjoy TLD's speed demon.

I can't remember, but I may have tuned it to act like a 5spd. If that's the case then treat the car like a 5spd gearbox. I do things like that sometimes to contain wheelspin.👍

Requesting a car is as simple as doing what you just did, telling me what you'd like. I ask that people provide me with a review of one of my current cars before requesting a car to be tuned, but I think you already did that a page or 2 ago, so I'll send you that 599 right now. It's tuned for 650 PP as the car doesn't make sense much elsewhere. If you want to change the power/weight levels, be sure to change the gears accordingly.

Been waiting for you to post this beast up here(ford lm test car) . I knew you'd get around to it sooner or later. Ok im excited going to play know. But don't 4get to post me back about that VIPER/TUNED and how to put in an order. thx bro hope to see you online one day. ps send me a friends invite .(xxRAVxx)

Ive drove 80% of the cars you post, and haven't reached 100% because i get a favorite setup from you and your team. And I'll play too hard to test them all but im working on it. Ive been winning about 40% of all my races thanks to you guys.

Don't forget we don't use "txt spk" here at GTP.;) I'm sure by now you've read my response to both the Viper and how to request, and are currently perusing the 599 tune. Hope that clears everything up.:)

Edit: Yikes! TLD's 500th post is coming up soon. I better make a 500th post special, but what?

Nice GT LM! 👍 I'll give it a spin when I get home, looking forward to see how it handles.

Lol, no-one post after me! I want to see how special a TLD tune can be :sly:

One more post after this one and TLD reaches 500 posts. (You don't include the opening post, 500 replys). I have something in mind, but it will be very hard to tune (possible harder than GT LM) and it's rarely ever seen online. I have to see what I can do with this chassis, it's designed for something else.;)

Good to hear. At Suzuka at least I still love my Corvette much more than this one despite being 1sec slower. It's much easier to handle than the GT.

The Lion's Den reaches 500 replys.:dopey:

To celebrate TLD will release a "500th Edition" special car. The original idea for a car for this occasion was scrapped in favour of a more desirable car with more pedigree. And to show TLD is still hard at work making tunes better than ever the TLD Amuse S2000 GT1 will recieve some PP modifications (tommorow).

👍:tup:Hi Holden!! Thank you so much for posting the FORD GT LM.👍👍 I've always wanted to drive this car but the tunes I found before were not just competitive enough. I was easily overtaken in the curves and coming out of them, I found it real hard to control oversteer. It's simply amazing how you were able to perfectly dial in each setting. You've made oversteer manageable by an order of magnitude:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: It's still a tad oversteery but nothing a couple throttle taps can't cure -- Man, you should consider writing a book like GTP5 Tuning for Dummies or something like that.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone posting a sub 2' on this car. I was able to get a consistent 2.03xx and best lap I did online was 2'01.680 last night (probably with a 2 sec helping from online boost:sly:) I just love how blindingly fast you've made this car! - nothing compares to the feeling of catching up to a punter and watch him become a speck in the rear view.
I'll leave the technical review to someone who knows the intricacies of driving physics.

Funny how I only see this car once or twice in Suzuka. Last night it was in every race I was in ( 5 of us in one race ) . This car is definitely THE CAR to beat.:bowdown::bowdown:

I give this a rating of 10/10

PS: aww man, i was really looking forward to that rare car you were working on. Could you please post your tune for it anyway? Personally, I'd rather see a track filled with ZO6's than AMUSE's

Good to hear you like the GT LM.👍 I have consistency issues with it at times, but when you race calmly in it Im sure you had many good finishes.
Not to worry, the car I have decided on is still as rare as the car I ditched. The car I ditched I think will still make it to TLD, but not as a special edition, it was not worthy.:sly:

And so, without further ado, here it is!

As I promised here it is my "THOUGHTS" lol

This car is a Ferrari but not just any Ferrari, "THE BEST FERRARI EVERY BUILT". This car was already incredible as default but after Holden did his incredible tunning, this car is just a monster. Corners very well and yet you got to play with the throttle. Some people hate that but I dig that. Straightways is fast forward and racing online is even better cause you will need all the speed and grip available.
Overall this car is perfect and my God, Holden...the gears are very well done. I don't know if some people will like it...but this car was like made for me!!! I love challenges and this car delivers and every single one of them. Well done mate.
