As I promised here it is my "THOUGHTS" lol
This car is a Ferrari but not just any Ferrari, "THE BEST FERRARI EVERY BUILT". This car was already incredible as default but after Holden did his incredible tunning, this car is just a monster. Corners very well and yet you got to play with the throttle. Some people hate that but I dig that. Straightways is fast forward and racing online is even better cause you will need all the speed and grip available.
Overall this car is perfect and my God, Holden...the gears are very well done. I don't know if some people will like it...but this car was like made for me!!! I love challenges and this car delivers and every single one of them. Well done mate.
^^^ +1 for all of that
Great tune Holden. You've really tamed this beast, especially regarding the gearing (thus making the boost come on far better). As mentioned, throttle control is paramount, but that's what makes the car so much fun to drive đź‘Ť
I can't seem to find any tune settings for these tracks online now that they have changed the tyres. Forgive my dumbness if they are here but I can't find them and I'm really struggling with the old settings.
I have been away from GT5p for a little while and came back to see I can't drive online and even my attempts to alter it are really lame so I stay away as I don't want to be labelled as an unfair driver.
Great tune with the ford gt lm test car, I can really handle it now, gj
Just checking, but is it ok if I link the Ford GT LM in my Cup event thread, Holden? I know you're sponsoring it and all, but I'd thought I'd ask first.
np Holden I just thought I'd ask. I'm looking for a tune for a DB9 on Suzuka 600pp, not easy, lol.
How come you only asked the major tuners for tunes? I mean, I'm not saying you should go and ask straight away in the Dutch Customs and L-tune threads, but I'm wondering what basis you're using for who you ask? Why not just ask one?
I have fallen in love with your Z06. You have to understand that if you cut me I bleed Rosso Scudaria. To bring me back to an American car takes an act of congress.
Most of the time I feel that an American sports car is like hanging a picture with a sledge hammer... really fun, but not the best tool for the job. I decided to try your Z06 tune. I was amazed. The Vette shows the perfect balance of loose, twitchy handling and a throttle response that gives confidence. For my habituall early apex driving style, I had to change a few of the suspension settings to allow the back end to walk a little. I now find myself handling the corners more with the throttle than the steering. I find myself watching and saving replays because I can't believe I ttok that corner that sideways. The car will grip, slide, or float out with limited traction to any tire at a whim. I feel a degree of confidence in this car that I don't usually feel in anything close to this horsepower. Think well tuned BMW 135 with enough horsepower to feel like it has a magnet in the front bumber. I am a convert, especially since I cannot get the same feeling from my beloved little Ferrari F430. The F40 is as I expected and the 512BB is a tasty little surprise. (I will write a review on that little number a little later.)
You have opened my tastes a great deal. In a world of violent Vipers and GTs its nice to find an American car that can restore my faith in the country.
If you have anything to make me love my F430 as much as this Vette, please let me know. You have definately gained a fan.
Didn't mean to cause offence, I was just after a setup thats all and I knew that the majority of tuners I have asked would either turn it down or ignore me which if you read where I have posted they have.
Perhaps the car is not as popular as the others? I know you guys get lots of requests so I played the numbers game.
as for asking the major tuners I wouldn't know who is major or minor I just posted where I might get a response.
Crowsy, Holden would be more than happy to help you provided you drive one of his tuned cars (all located on 1st page) and post a review for them.

The gears are simply perfect yet again! How do you do that always??
These setups are excellent.
The only problem i have is the brake balance on the Nissan GTR. 3-1 does solve the problem of sliding when braking, but seriously... you get absolutely no braking response.
I think they would be better with a 5-4 setup? Thats just how i figured works for me, not sure about everyone else though.
First post, been reading around for a couple weeks now... been working on S-10
interested in tunes for the gtlm, mine's, tuned evo x, and amuse, perhaps even tuned z06. i use standard settings, and i like the AWD because i HATE spinning out. I like to brake hard into turns, then accelerate fast out of them. ive noticed though that the z06 behaves well. I also have a wheel, if that makes a difference. and, of course, i'm limited to R1 tires.

Kris

Tried your TVR and it was a lot of fun, I like the car a lot. Trouble is I tended to spin a lot under acceleration, I was trying to be gentle but perhaps it was because I was on S2 tyres as 600pp is for Suzuka. If it was a bit more stable then I would love this car, its not the fastest out there but it sounds good and I have some fun.
just want to say thanks for your set-ups, i just wouldnt know where to start, also not got too much time!
so thanks again đź‘Ť

Description: Back in the days of Aussie Tuners one of my most famous and credited tunes was an AT-Spec DBR9 race car. The feedback was so great that TLD has now decided to release the road-going version of that very car. The TLD DB9 has had weight removed and power bumped to a Corvette challenging 372kw. Unfortunately for those weekend warriors out there this does not fit into any current race categories so it is merely a display of tuning ability for the time being. Have fun. If and when a 650 PP event comes up this car will be there to take honours in races.
Review:
After the finals in the Garage showdown I had had enough of S2 600 PP races with nothing but Evo's and WRX's so I decided to prepair for the next events update. I'm hoping for some 650 PP events tomorrow so I choose this car. I absolutely love this car, the dashboard, the engine sound the outside looks it is a gem.
Before I tried this setup I had had my issues with this car, the gearing was a bit off, I was struggling keeping it stable while accelerating out of corners
but it was a decent/competative car nevertheless.
The first thing I noticed when I set my DB9 up according to the TLD tune was the gears, a lot shorter first 3 gears then I had been driving with and that made a world of difference while accelerating. I am very impressed with the acceleration this setup gives me, the only thing that I haven't completely nailed down about the gears is when I go through the S curve and the Bank curve on Suzuka, I keep changeing from 2nd to 3rd, I just need a little bit more time with this car to get the rythem right so I can just stay 3rd.
Then there is the handling, this setup is really stable ! The problem I had while accelerationg out of corners on this car, GONE ! This setup reminded me of the godlike setup TLD did for the M3 a while back. You get so cocky at times, you feel like your driving the R8. Of course there were times I spun out while exiting corners but give it time and you will get some pretty impressive times with this setup. The best I have done is 2.14.xx on Suzuka and 1.52.xx on Fuji but I haven't had a lot of time with it so I am sure I'll be able to do better.
Now I am just waiting and hoping that there will be some 650 PP races tomorrow so I can compare it with the outside world.
Definatly give this setup a try it is very forgiving and enjoyable !!
Yeah I know the 650 PP isn't much of a jump in speed, but there is more stability and more cars competative against the Evo's and WRX's I just don't like driving those cars it is like driving in Standard physics they are so easy to control, I want a challenge aswell as the competition
The Ferrari's 599/430, the DB9, hopefully the M3 and some other interesting cars will hopefully see some daylight if we get 650 PP events again.
I also love the 500 PP but there I have mostly been racing my VW Golf which I love. The high end 750 PP doesn't interest me because of all the novice drivers there... Would love that class in private rooms.
What region do you have there in Australia, NTSC / PAL ? My PSN account is set to US and I bought my GT5P copy through the US PSN Store so I am pretty much stuck in NTSC land which really sucks when I want to race during the day, because of the time difference and all...
Yeah, I tuned that one back when 600 PP had R3 tyres. If it's anything like the Tuscan it would be one wild ride on S2 tyres. So would you still like a DB9? I noticed 888 already did a DB9 for you, perhaps you would like a different car?
That's awesome!đź‘Ť Was this the standard Corvette or the Tuned one? If it's the standard one I have some updated settings for that you might like as well, but never got around to posting them. At the moment I might just see what the new events are on Thursday and if there's a good category I will make a new and more competitve Corvette than ever before. Remember when you drive the 512 BB I tuned it with R3 tyres which are no longer available with 600 PP.
Shall we wait to see what new categories there are on Thursday to decide what category we make the F430 for?

Description: The Lion's Den has reached 500 posts , and to celebrate I am releasing this special edition Ferrari F40. One of the most desired and respected supercars in history, the F40 is a beautiful machine. TLD has tuned it for a category we hope will become available in the near future, one that would pit the world's supercars against each other, and we hope that the F40 will be in those races. Enjoy celebrating 500 replys to TLD, and thanks for all your support so far!
It's a Holden secret, not telling.
