Here's one that bothers me a lot. I need to quit practice every single time in GT mode just because I want to change my car. Such a waste of time. Why can't we choose cars on the track?

I totally agree, I also hate it when you are buying a car from the ucd and you get dumped out onto the homepage after every car you buy.

I kind of wish we could buy paint.
BTW, with the paint DLC, how many items do you get per color? Do you only get 1, or is it unlimited?

The little things that annoy me:

1) Threads like this.

They're just minor annoyances though, and I get over it quickly by simply enjoying the game.

Funny thing, you took your time to click into it and post that.

It's called consumer feedback. Not to mention a forum is for sharing opinions. Good or bad.

Rumble strips being too touchy? I thought they weren't really touchy enough, you can get away with a lot worse in GT5 than you could in the real world.

You know what annoys me? The inablility to bolt on 4 turbos on to my Supra just so I can say it has 2,000hp. lols. Because I saw a video on youtube with a supra with 2,000hps. True story.

I hate the driver's animations. In some cars, he holds the wheels like he's afraid of getting his gloves dirty and seeing him trying to predict which gear you'll change to in cars with paddles and failing miserably is very distracting.

The solid walls. We need tyre barriers... heck even NASCAR 2011 has deformable barriers!!!

Smoothherb
Crashkid??
Penalties are fine!

On some tracks, they are fine. Tgtt and spa however are just ruthless and half the time you get penalised for stuff that you wouldn't in real life.

Oooo man I could go in forever about all the little piss offs of this game. The game is perfect if it wasn't for all these stupid small time things. Good cars and bad cars wtf! Can't change rims, body kits, or take good pics of the bad cars. The paint only being able to be used once than its gone. So much other stuff that is just so insane that they would think people would find this acceptable. The stupid tracks like Monza where the signs on the side of the road that say 150, 100, 50 that tell you how close the next corner is. If you get to the edge of the track and just clip one they don't move at all. There like cement buried a mile deep. I hit one going crazy fast and it doesn't budge or have a scratch. Ironically neither did my car although I did spin like crazy and lose the race.

If we ignore big things like AI, the little things that annoy me are:

Woeful prize cars. Win the turbo challenge in b spec expert. Get a Honda City Turbo II :yuck:
Repeat prize cars in A and B spec. diahatsu midget twice, 4 x lupos etc
Having to watch that rubbish animation to change your oil, wash your car etc.
Crap selection of after market wheels
Cant preview your car colour before you paint it.
Modding your car hasn't really changed since GT1. 3 types of suspension? Come on!

The fact that many cars have no interior mirror.
The fact that some cars have zero rear visibility in interior view.
The fact that the driver list gets on top of the rear view mirror in LHD interior view.
The fact that 800 out of 1100 cars are more or less unavailable to buy at a time of my choosing.
The fact that standard cars have no windshield wipers.
The fact that standards can't have their wheels changed.
The fact that the OCD keeps bringing back the same cars over and over. Come on, there are 800+ to choose from, don't give us a mix of the same 100 - 150 cars EVERY time.

The fact that i could go on and on and on with this post until my laptop died of old age.

I really think PD should just do away with oil changes, HP loss, engine/chassis repair altogether. It takes to long and ticks off my gaming ocd bad.

Yeah, but it would loose some of its simulation factor.

Ok I got one. Standard cars can not be photographed at those special locations. Now they obviously did this because they were ashamed at how bad the standard cars look, but in the opening it shows (if you have one selected) a standard car at the photo locations. So clearly it's possible to take pics of them there, they just don't want you to.

How much more thourough and varied the game would be with 1000 premium cars minus the obvious dupes, a few of the old GT4 tracks back (El Captain, Costa d' Amalfi, Cittia di Aria i'm calling all of you!!) and a load more A-spec events!! :D But bar some of the people online and the slow AI theres not much that annoys me!

The walls on some tracks. It's like as soon as you crash into them, some force is pushing you back into the wall until you've slowed down to a certain speed to get away from it.

That's annoying in my view.

The lack of scenic tracks with amazing downhill sections that make driving absolutely amazing and fun! I used to LOVE Citta di Aria, Costa de Almafi, El Capitan, Cathedral Rocks, Ect... The only scenically stunning track now is Eiger!

No twin turbos and boring up engine displacement. I want a 1000BHP Skyline and a 700BHP Evo god dam it!!!

I get annoyed at the..

Black screen...... of DEATH!!

And getting disconnected from a long online race..

I got a different black screen recently, resumed the Nurburgring 24 hours, and while there was no image I heard the car cruising through pit road, didn't stop by the way and finally when all I heard was the engine idling I could control the car, accelerating and turning, all the while the screen was devoid of an image.

I was too unamused to try to restart after that so I don't know if my race is "broken" now, which I'd be okay with really. I haven't enjoyed more than maybe one lap out of the forty-something I've done so far.
