The little things that you find ANNOYING IN GT SPORT.

GT-Sport degenerates your skill.
After 2 weeks of gt-s i cant drive anymore succsessful in other games.
Crashing every corner, steer like a idiot, have to learn almost everything again.
This game is dangerous, it´s teaches you unreal driving behavior.

This is no fun or hate post, it is a seriously meant warning!

Not the game's fault to be honest, but I feel a little bad after spending hours, sometimes even days working on a livery, and then going to the activity feed in my profile, or the livery editor threads here in :gtplanet:, seeing the awesome work some people do, and coming to the sad realization that I just wasted lots of time in a sub-par, crappy excuse for a livery :guilty:
Hey man, if you like your livery that's all that matters

I feel you, I can't play PC2 worth a damn anymore haha

In the livery editor, when you want to pick a decal, the cursor often jumps to the left menu, which also has no reason to be there anyway as it’s always deactivated, instead of to the first decal.

What do you prefer? I actually have gotten so used to RH anything grippier just feels weird. And i find correcting oversteer harder the grippier the tire is
I prefer RH or lower.
I wouldn't say no to the odd Gr2 race with RS tyres but the current situation in lobbies is "let's put F1 tyres on everything" as it has always been since GT went online.

True true, basically the faster the car, the more appropriate stickies get.
But i do remember some ridiculous races/lap times in 350pp cars with RS tires on the Nordschliffe in GT6...
Ahh, good times

I want to drive a econobox and want it to handle like a race car so I can pretend to be a race car driver in an econobox.
I don't want to drive a econobox in a video game where it handles like a econobox. I'll just drive my crappy econobox IRL
I especially don't want to drive a econobox in a video game where it handles worse than an econobox. I'll just drive my crappy econobox IRL and be thankful I don't own a Lada.

As realistic as the second/third options may be, it's not fun or relaxing for me. It's a video game; not a driving simulator/racing career trainer.

- No tire logos on the F1500 (even "Gran Turismo" would be better than nothing)

- Omni-present transmission whine (which cannot be lowered that much, even at -5 in the audio settings)

When the AI indicate and pull aside to let me by when I am racing against them. Just ridiculous!

I just did a 2 lap Custom Race in order to hit my Daily Workout prize. When you are behind them for about 5s they throw the towel in. Rubbish.

I'm pretty sure they only do this if they're not in your class.

I had GR4 Lancers WRXs etc. pull over when I was in a GR3 Viper.

Otherwise if they're same class it's WW3.
I did a 2 lap Gr.3 race, with me in the Mercedes-AMG GT3, and they threw the towel in after a few seconds.

I've seen the signaling, but they rarely move out of the way effectively. Often they continue with the racing line.

Most of the spain drivers haha ;) damn they are sooo agrassive.....

But uhmmm skit marks a bit weak and i want my 4k flames from the release back. Saw a video the other day with them soooo nice.....

Why is the GTS car roster sort of rooted in 2016?

The 458? The 650s? Its been ages since the 488 and 720s has been out for a while.
They started developing GTS years ago, so a lot of cars in it are 2 - 3 years old. They also lifted a lot of the cars directly from previous games.
Doesn't mean we won't get more new cars in future updates though

My 458 GT3 seems to have developed a vertical hold problem with its rear view camera.

Why? Italian electronics?

Despite all of the massive fun the game brings, when it works correctly, it is still a little bit unfinished and the official FIA season starts in 2 weeks. I want it to be ready for that, Please PD make it so. These 2 below are not little things, however, I will feel better after mentioning them :D

1. Penalties - If someone is sitting in a bar doing nothing wrong and is then attacked, the police do not punish the victim as well as the attacker, do they? So why is the GT Sport penalty system like this? Utterly stupid, a failure in ability to decide who is the victim, means that there should not be a penalty system at all, that would be much better than this one, which is a guaranteed turn off from sport mode for drivers who worked hard to get their DR up and now have too much to lose by playing sport mode due to the basically flawed penalty system.

2. Disconnects - happened to me again today, last lap 1st place battle, then disconnect! This was not because of my internet, that cost me 2000 DR and some SR. Am I now expected to slavishly play sport mode for 5 or 10 races, just to get that DR back, whilst risking it all, just by playing again?

Sometimes licencing plays into it if a game secures a model or brand for a set time
That's why Ferrari, Lambo and Porsche were not in GT. All were exclusive to EA games

-I kind of wish the race cars with center-locks would have the wheel selection in livery editor limited as such. It just kills the immersion for me when I see Gr.3 and Super GT cars with 5-lug and even sometimes 4-lug wheels.

-The basic hp and weight scales in place of tuning parts don't bug me so much, but I hate how a lot of the road cars still move around like tugboats in a hurricane after lowering and stiffening the suspension to the maximum allowable constraints. This is especially bad in braking where I have cars lifting their rears a solid 2 feet into the air.

Since GT1 I have always used bumper cam. Here is my complaint, it's you racers who use Hood view, I have run into more people that use that view, because they simply can't see me coming and the radar isn't effective enough. I wish they would eliminate the hood view. Here it is, if you don't have mirrors you cant race, simple as that! on that aspect the hood view is so far from realistic it should not be allowed.

i almost always race chase cam but once in a while will inadvertently press the wrong button a switch to hood view. i generally last a race or two then off back to the chase. but i don't do online so a
only affects me

edited to say chase cam; not bumper

The extremely low draw distance in the mirrors/rear view camera, and on some tracks, like Monza, the draw distance just looking forward, you see stuff appear in the distance. This really kills the ‘immersion’...

What?! I‘m usually fine with hood cam apart from the occasional dive bomber but tbh I‘d still like to have a mirror. It‘s more realistic than the bumper cam imho tho :odd:
