The little things that you find ANNOYING IN GT SPORT.

Since GT1 I have always used bumper cam. Here is my complaint, it's you racers who use Hood view, I have run into more people that use that view, because they simply can't see me coming and the radar isn't effective enough. I wish they would eliminate the hood view. Here it is, if you don't have mirrors you cant race, simple as that! on that aspect the hood view is so far from realistic it should not be allowed.

So i understand the scenario as they're in front, your coming behind them, they brake, you hit them and they're at fault. Me thinks GT nailed the Real Driving Simulator at last!!

Except that in that scenario I got the penalty or both of us. The only "Realistic view" is in car, problem with that is you cant see the mirrors in all cars.

I really wish PD had modeled the high-downforce version of the TS050, 'cause the low-drag car looks way too dorky and relentlessly ugly with the long nose.

You don't like it, so therefore it should be removed? That's awfully selfish.

LOL, true, it is selfish. No different than those who want TC CSA removed. But how can you race clean from hood view if you cant see anything except what is front of you. Tired of getting the "I'M sorry, I use hood view with no mirror and i didn't see you." message. As my DR takes a big hit due to someone else being selfish, that's exactly what hood view is SELFISH! Other games like NASCAR HEAT offers the rear-view on all views. Maybe PD could add in the rear-view mirror.

I remember doing the Ring gold experience and the M6 really has terrible visibilty where some corners of the ring arent all the visible so bumper cam would be useful there - as is chase cam.

I also dislike bumper cam to a degree becasue I feel its a bit cheaty. Its like you're driving a cab forward bus or truck with its panaramic view.

I mean I did use it to 'cheat' in the GT5/6 seasonal time trials.

Every view should have a mirror. Unfortunately, bumper cam is the only view with a rear-view mirror. (even some cockpit-view mirrors are difficult to see from).

So why not just ask for mirrors to be added?

When you can't see a thing, because PD thinks dashboard lights aren't necessary in low-light conditions. We have buttons for turning signals on, why not one for the dash, PD? Good thing I learnt to shift by ear ages ago..

nice skybox, though.

Vision cars that make GT look stupid and immature.

Penalty system to punish victims, literally the most absurd thing ever!

Lack of cars at launch.

Lack of tracks at launch.

Lack of tuning and customisation.

Lack of offline content at launch.

Need for online only saving.

The offline content that comes being so poorly implimented.

AI that indicates and pulls over upon my challenge.

The lack of rewarding RP and cash to buy our cars.

That stupid daily workout and repeated prize cars. Not 1 or 2, but 4 or 5 now. Can't do nothing but throw them away. And you just know as soon as I buy a Jag/Ferrari for 20m, that'll be what I get next, lol. Already happens with so many cars.

Too random.

Totally agree 100% about the online save only and the penalty system.
Being able to sell daily workout cars for a small amount would be good,
I know the vision cars are popular but,and this is my personal opinion, they should be in a game like ridge racer or some other `futuristic`race type game, not one that classes itself as a driving simulator.Like i said just,my opinion not looking for an argument.:)

The AI is really strange and stupid in the GT League sometimes the cars just throws out of the track like in the last corner in Suzuka then drives and hit you in the back on the end of main straight in Suzuka. :irked:

Oh absolutely. The vision cars are loved by many and though I share your opinion that they'd suit another title altogether, there are plenty of other cars on GT6 that gave me more than enough without adding those to my personal garage. Totally each their own though, I mean no harm, lol.

With the offline content being added to significantly I am surprised they haven't readdressed that part. And though the penalty system frustrated me too much, I am hopeful as they do appear to be trying too.

I've just gotten so frustrated by this title, and it saddens me that I'm not playing my daily dose of GT like I have for a very long time now, lol.

Peace out guys.

The fact that i'm just about incapable of winning anything. Every car I have just cannot corner the way I want it to. Understeer or Oversteer. Nothing in between. Sport Mode is especially bad with this. How is everyone so much better than me at this game? I've been playing racing games since I was six and GT Sport makes me feel like an ashamed noob.

Not to mention the penalties.
The penalties....
THE PENALTIES.....
PENALTIES PENALTIES PENALTIES!!!!

What I find odd about the AI in this game, is that in custom races in the Arcade mode, the AI is fairly good, even on beginner level (especially if you start from the back).

But it's like a totally different AI with the GT League (Although I admit, I can't get anywhere with the F1 races on the professional league.).

I have driven like 155 races (or something like that) and I've been in the top 10 4 times.

Now, I just got a wheel last week, so learning to drive without a lot of the assists on, hoping that helps.

Maybe you can post a video and we can see what you are doing. Maybe you are doing nothing wrong, just bad luck, maybe you make some mistakes. Would be a good idea to share some vids. Also there is a topic where TS is giving advice how to get better. Again, first post some material where you think you drive at your best. Not in this topic.

Slow loading times for liveries. I'm trying to change a couple things inbetween Daily Races and there are 2minutes to go. The circle of life & death wants to to play "The Percentages"! Hurry uuuuup! I'm missing a race!!!

I wish the TCS settings would stay the same from session to session... am always having to change them again at the start of a race (unless I forget which is always fun)

I wish that (like Project Cars) there was a set time of practising set in lobbies, you never know when (or indeed IF) a race is going to start!

While we're on the subject of lobbies. The MOST infuriating thing on the planet is.... Putting in a load of refinements to the lobbies settings search... going into a lobby only to find that you were a fraction too late going in and the race starts... so you go back to the lobby search and it's wiped out all your search parameters. I mean it's quite irritating even when you do get to race and come out and all the settings need doing again to get the sort of race you want but at least you get a race before that annoyance!

I'm not even going to complain about the penalty system... That would require an essay!

Yes! Happens to me. I'm wondering why the car is behaving differently. TCS is not where I set it during Warm-up!

Weird how it saves when not in Sport Mode.

Most annoying for me is still the META-car scrubs. They ruin pretty much every race that could've been great.
La Sarthe today for example: Could've been a field of Corvettes, Porsches, Audis, Lambos and so on. Instead, all I see are Mustangs, because they are 0.1 sec faster on the straits....

Those freaking try-hards man. :grumpy:

But what happens if you expecting a field full of RSRs, Supra RCs, Vantages, 458s, Corvette C7s, M6s and Mustangs, all fighting against each other at Le Mans, but then you only get to see practically a one-make race of that mentioned crowd-plowing machine that happens to be Thrashman's favorite??

This may have been mentioned in other threads (or on this one), but the thing that irritates me a lot is the gear change indicator which lights up in red to tell you which gear to use and then starts blinking as you approach the corner. This is visually confusing and distracting and is quite often wrong. I'd imagine that most people know which gear to use - it's by no means a difficult decision.

This was a feature of previous GT games but I think there was an option to turn it off, but I haven't found a way of turning it off in GT sport.

Where to start with this crap

- I am sick and tired of the same tire screeching sound. Its a minor improvement over previous GT titles but still sounds digital and crap

- Sick and tired of the same digital sounding audio, although its a huge improvement compared to GT6 it still sounds awful. How can dirt rally, a game with half the budget produce better audio? Its unacceptable and has been going on for a decade.

- Awful tire model. Cars are boring to drive because of it.

- terrible sense of speed, has been an issue since GT1.

- Throttle and torque is strange, it feels as if the car is just accelerating in a linear fashion. Hard to explain.

Sony needs to fire Kaz already, I am dead serious! He needs to go!
