The little things that you find ANNOYING IN GT SPORT.

There are only BIG things I dislike about this game. Throttle linearity, transmission whine that I cant turn off, no charlie whiting mode for sport mode races to seriously punish dirty drivers. Also the HUD is not customizable... i dont care about that rev bar or steering imput dots and i dont want to see fuel messages in the middle of my screen while racing. Let me toggle on or off what I want.

I really don't like how long it can take sometimes for entries into FIA races to be confirmed. Sometimes it takes a couple of seconds, other times it takes 5-7 minutes. I was thinking it was just an issue with everybody trying to get in at the same time, but now I'm not so sure; I just entered the last time slot in the manufacturers race tonight with 3 minutes to go and got kicked before my entry was confirmed because, apparently, even 3 minutes isn't enough time for my entry to go through. My family offered to leave our planned hangout at a campground early so I could get points for this race and I get put on the backburner for who know's why... :banghead:

I'm really not digging the lack of "everyday" cars. Yeah, it's great we don't have 18 different NA Miatas like in years past, but it would be nice to have some more variety of iconic cars from the '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s that you see might see on the road in real life (i.e. original Mini Cooper, S2000, Integra Type-R, S13/S14 Silvia/240SX, AE86 Corolla GTS, etc.)

Livery editor:
  • Not being able to paint helmets.
  • Not being able to use the special paints on stickers.
  • No grouping of layers or merging of layers.
  • No copying of multiple layers at once.
  • No saving of hsv colors.
In general:
  • People with red connection indicator in FIA races (kick them or perma ghost them).
  • People getting rid of their penalty in the last few meters, usually on the racing line.
  • Getting a penalty for hitting someone that was clearly brakechecking you.
  • Lack of items in the milage exchange (stickers, suits, helmets)
  • No ‘fuel’ usage in electric cars in custom race (offline)

No car filter.
I need to filter drive train, aspiration, manufacturer, and country. Funny how we can "sort"(even that still reverts back to default) all this in our Garage, but not for ARCADE races.

I'd love to leave out the awd Gr. 4 when I do my races. Just to replicate real world GT4.

A while ago I decided I wanted a nice screenshot for the platinum trophy so I saved the 100 photos trophy until last. I set up a nice shot with my favourite cars and took the picture 40 times to reach the total. It turns out the game gives the trophy when you press the shutter release rather than when the photo is finished.

Instead of the Lexus RC F being flanked by 2 TS050s I have a black rendering screen. FML.

-Dear PD, is that so hard to make an overview in GT League where we could see wich races is already done without need to enter the sub race menues?

- and why must the views be different in replays? (black part at the bottom, can't see car in roof view)

The fact that setup isn't part of the core game. Official races restrict actually using them, so there's little point investing time running a car that behaves different when it matters.

Race duration. Without going overboard, I'd like to see longer races at least once in a blue moon. I'd argue that racecraft and strategy suffer when the longest duration races are more like short sprint races. The amplified fuel and tire wear constrict strategic choices because running in free air for an extra lap usually doesn't stand up to the tire wear.

Not being able to create liveries out of game. The use of a mouse and keyboard would make the creative assembly of liveries a lot easier and allow more finesse.

- Finishing a daily race - then needlessly, having to wait 5-7 minutes for the next one. If Call of Duty or Battlefield made you wait that long for the next match no one would play it.

- Offline GT League mode is a joke.

- The penalty system of course

The broken tyre model
The whole mileage points system
Cars/items being locked away behind a grind wall
Cars/items not even being available to purchase at certain times

Too many other things to mention or even remember at the present time...

People who take race and scapes photos of a great livery but never credit the actual designer and people who take race and scapes photos and leave the default title on. LAZY!!!!

The HUD. Blocks everything in cockpit view. Blocks the rearview mirror, blocks the bottom of the screen. Minor customisation for it.

I'd prefer the car in front, car behind and the leader. I don't need the whole top 10 on the left of screen.

We need a function to turn HUD "Off" on the fly.

Getting a CE 34878-0 blue screen every 2 or 3 days for the last 7 months when the game changes from practice to the race starting grid screen. It is really getting tiresome, pretty soon there will be a PS4 flying thru our living room window.:mad::mad::mad:

GT5/6 also showed only the cars that matched the room settings. You also needed to set filter to show all cars, then pick it, tune/detune it in setup menue to make it fit the room rules. :D
But yes, i also want back the big car button:D

Camera settings not saving when entering a lobby. Also when painting certain cars like the R35, "other" parts such as the side skirts will be painted too.
THIS is so annoying since October of last year when the game came out you would think it be fixed by now 👎

I have severe isues with the tyre model too. I hate it on the cars I drive, particularly RWD cars. I thus denounce this.

People who seem incapable of reading the manual, or just poking around in menus.

I finally found the advanced settings for the FFB changes in the in race menu. This is my new favorite post. This guy trolled me for months, instead of just saying: look in the driving options menu when you back out of any race screen.
