The little things that you find ANNOYING IN GT SPORT.

Not being able to adjust brake pressure like every other racing game out there. Maybe ABS wouldn't be a necessity if we could adjust that.

I never used ABS in my 10 years of Forza Motorsport, I don't use it in the F1 games either. But in GTS I need it.

Re the Welcome Belated Appearance of the Legendary Mini, are those Wheels correct for the vehicles Year ? As I can't help thinking that they're from the 1970's. But I'm not an expert on all things "Mini"....the look of them just bugs me a bit.

You are bugged for good reason.

The authentic wheels were pressed steel, painted. Unpainted hubcaps were fitted. There was no logo of any kind on the wheel or hubcap, let alone a “Mini” logo 👎

They didn’t have a red tow eye, nor rear facing lamp, nor that bonnet strap or whatever it is. Also, I don’t recall the two-tone seats. And why does it have a radio aerial when it didn’t come with a radio? Oh, and that tachometer is non-standard.

Is that an oil cooler behind the grille? I don’t remember that being original.

And I have previously pointed out, there was no standard ability to flash both right and left turn signals in unison as is illustrated in the JAL hanger animation.

Everytime I've started the game this week, I get a pop up for GT TV, and superstars. Hit ok, and it takes me to a couple videos on a news page. I'm sure a lot of people care about that stuff, but I don't. Its just pissing me off. What do I have to do to make it stop?

The Mitsubishi evo gr.3. The right hand side of car on the skirt. The decal is fuzzy, whereas detailed on the left.

As soon as it starts loading the page, you can just press circle to cancel it so you don't need to wait.

While I was taking a close look at the non-authentic wheels of the 1965 Cooper S, I noticed that it has disk brakes on the rear wheels.

None of the Morris (or Austin) Coopers or Cooper Ss of that era had disk brakes on the rear. None. Never.

To the best of my knowledge, nobody has ever even offered a rear brake conversion kit for sale.

(That said, I recall a story about a crazy person who managed to install a second motor/gearbox/transmission in the rear of a Cooper, so it would have had disk brakes on all 4 wheels. Throttle and steering coordination was a significant technical issue!)

But it offers to watch it EVERY TIME i launch the game. Like, bruv, i am not interested, why you force me to the video page? And the only option you have is O.K. Why can't i press "Skip" or "Not interested" or smth like that? Totally agree with @MMX on this one

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, circuit experience. Why on earth do they release a new circuit then wait until the next update to let you get some experience on a track you have been playing for a month & now know?

Would love to know their thinking on that one.
Probably waiting on the times set by players to work out the times for them.

Jump into the Boxer Spirit race 2 using a GT86 with slightly more horsepower. Make it to a strong lead by lap 2 but a Porsche catches me on last lap and I can't possibly keep him behind.
Return to the same race with a WRX Gr.B roadcar and this time there is no Porsche in the field so the race is way too easy. :grumpy:

Most annoying problem I have is trying to see what a new livery looks like and what colors and/or decal designs look best with the car in motion. To do that, you need to be able to see the cars clearly from all angles.

The problem is that way too many of Home's "View Car" videos have the cars coming at you with headlights blazing (including high beams) and you can't see the livery's colors and decals.
Add to that having the cars coming out of a bright sunset or sunrise and you can't even tell what car is coming at you, let alone what the colors and decals look like in motion.

What's with the lack of foresight in the poor lighting conditions they used and then the inability to see there is a problem with the lighting and still not killing all the light pollution?
I love the basic idea of the cars being seen in motion in a nice variety of locations and like to just sit and watch them when I'm not racing. Too bad so much of their hard work is not easy to see at times.

I just found out that you can't sell Sponsored Cars you get from signing driver contracts! It just clutters my garage to have duplicates. I could sell the original car I bought but I've already tuned them to full stage and it would be a waste of mileage points to sell them. If I had known this I would've signed up to each manufacturer for all the past FIA practice seasons. Would've saved me a LOT of money that I could use towards the $20 million cars...

Classic PD and their idiosyncratic limtations

They are NOT your cars. They are provided by the manufacturers for races. That is your fault not PD's.

Well duh, obviously. But now that the FIA season is over I would expect that they be removed automatically (since they are owned by manufacturers as you said), or be available for us to sell/remove them (since you are no longer contracted to the manufacturer). It's a silly and completely arbitary design decision, just like with not being able to sell gift cars, DLC cars, and cars purchased from MiEx.

Yeah, there should be an option to hand back.

You don't get to keep the sponsor car once you switched to another manufacturer, so you wouldn't have saved up more money from doing that

Should've stuck to one manufacturer instead

Seeing that makes me want to resign with Porsche instead of signing with Mercedes or Aston Martin since I already have their respective Gr.3 and 4 cars.

Of course that will change until I get the 911 RSR and Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

The Exhibition Seasons are short so signing for a manufacturer isn't as much of a commitment as it was back in the FiA Season. You can resign for Porsche I think about a month from now, if not sooner

I think I'm just gonna stay not signed to a manufacturer. It's been a long time now since I resigned with Porsche yet I'm still affiliated with them and still have both the 911 RSR and Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

Strangely enough either car hasn't appeared yet on the daily workout wheel.

Probably been mentioned a lot back in the early days after GT Sports Release Date but....:banghead::eek:

Glitch i.r.o. the "Bonus" cars supplied with the Collectors Edition Boxset. Several of them show up as Duplicates, but with a warning triangle across them in my Car List / Garage. But I cannot delete the 🤬 things !!!
Come on PD it's been an error since Launch ! Let us tidy up our own Garages & get rid of Vehicles we don't want !!

Started playing through GT4, it's made me realise that GTS is far too easy.

On GT4's license tests I can score a great time and still be silver, GTS I can spin twice and still be clear of gold by a second.

Good for you !! :cool::eek:
I've found a few to be really difficult :embarrassed:, as I don't have a Wheel:rolleyes:, just a huge collection of Controllers !! :banghead:
(until I realised that you could actually tweek a few things on some of them) ! :dunce:
Plus a few GT Planet guys offered helpful tips on the last one, that really helped !!:gtpflag:
But you've ONLY completed the Basic & Intermediate Licence Tests so far.....because they haven't released the ADVANCED ones yet !!
