The little things that you find ANNOYING IN GT SPORT.

I'd like a few more Options...Like:
"At the Start of the Race, I'm Going To Unleash Hell !" (For those Gladiator types !!)
"I Don't Hate You, I'm Just Crap at this. So don't have a Cow, if I accidentally punt you off into the pits !"
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

LOL Or a few Duke Nukem quotes, or something

In lobby races, qualification, I hate to be forced to do an entire lap of long tracks (like Nurburgring Nordschleife) in lobby before to start/run a time trial lap .

IR
Connected to that, I hate that on Nordschleife 24h layout, you can't use the shortcut from the GP track to the start finish straight to do a shorter outlap like it is done in real life. Other racing games have it implemented.

Super annoyed with the stupid rev limiter on the new Z28.
290 hp at 6,000rpm?
The thing should be making well over 350 horse and be pulling strong past 7 grand, and I wanna hear that change in engine note when it gets up there.
Also I've power upped it to near 600 hp, and I'm supposed to believe a 302 is making that power still pegged at 6,200 rpm? Unghhh
Rant over.

Random black screen when entering track/pits in lobbies - don't know how many updates have gone by without this being fixed.

Loading fastest save lap as a ghost still not working, they got rid of the annoying bug where you had two ghosts but now you only get the best lap in the current session.

Also not GT Sport but Sony, you can have a race night with 16 drivers but only 8 can join a party chat...this really bugs me.

290 at the wheels is about right though, if not a little high even.

The 302 was definitely a screamer though, you’re right about that.

That GT League uses the same exacts cars in events even after updates that add more cars. For example, in 4WD Challenge, the only cars you will see being used by the AI are the Skylines, TTS, A 45, Evo X, WRX STI, and the Atenza. There are a ton of duplicates and it’s so annoying imo. What happened to the 2 Trucks, 22B, Evo 4, R8, Old TT etc. In Premium Sports Lounge, the AI are never seen using the DB11, Huayra, SLR McLaren, F50, Camaro Z28, Corvette C2 etc. Like there’s no variety in GT League Events in terms of the cars being used by AI.

Exactly!! We had this in the beta version so why not in the final game?
Lol that's ridiculous.

In the previous titles, you could at least look around the inside of the car while in cockpit mode. I think it's not only 360° though but it's still better than it being only fixated to the front.

People who make liveries with number boards on the side of the car that aren't Sport mode compatible

I realise in the case of inch-perfect replicas it's not always possible, but on the rare occasion I try to find one to use it's really annoying

I do this for ~90% of my liveries. But man, PD is so damn inconsistent with it, sometimes you just can’t. 4C Gr.3 is a good example, right in the middle of the door and it’s the size of a band poster.

I thought about this last night after the Manufacturers cup.

I had a great race qualified 6th on a track i just couldnt figure out, then in the race I was leading for a long time, but tyres went to **** on the last 2 laps (SLS AMG).

So I finished 2nd and scored maybe 700 or so points which i was happy with because usually my DR/SR is up and down like a yo-yo thanks to the new "drop to 15,000 if you have one bad race and start revenge punting" update.

Anyway, the thing that really annoys me is that there's no way to know the points that will be up for grabs before you go into an event, Or if you leave before qualifying it still overwrites your score with a 0.

I was so annoyed because inbetween the two events, I had done a few races to increase my DR/SR more, but still within the same bracket (B,B but maybe a few thousand higher)

but the points for the second group were a maximum of 400 because i got matched with a bunch of D/B players and then I quit, and it basically replaced my 700 score with 0!!

I always make my own custom number plates. I don't do Sport mode nor do I share my content, so it's all good.

TBH It's actually a huge pain in the ass since I have massive OCD issues, so the numbers and logos must be perfectly aligned and centered, otherwise I will get triggered.

The :censored:ing photo scapes. There are 1200+ of them and not a single one that could be used to represent a large parking lot in broad daylight from an even slightly elevated point of view. They're all either cramped, shot from half a metre above the ground, or shot against the sun so that the side of the car you're seeing is always in the shadow.

How we had the 190E Evo DTM and Calsonic R32 Skyine, both Group A era cars, with no E30. Now we have the E30 and R32 road cars and no 190 E Evo road car. It's like going to someone's house when they never have a complete match. They have Peanut Butter, but no Jelly... ham and no burger...:sly:

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. There’s only a small handful of Scapes that show the roof of the car, which is very frustrating if you’re a livery designer.

It made me laugh that they added a new Scapes pack in the last update “from the ground” shots ... like god damnit, almost every Scapes in the game is from that angle.

Wouldn't it be great to have an Indoor "Empty room" or Lab type scape with Pure White walls.
Where you could "place" different spotlights, to light your car, exactly the way you wanted.
Perhaps with an option to change the Colour of each individual wall ...just a thought..💡

Oh, I have another one. The :censored:ing clean race bonus. While undoubtedly a great addition in online racing to make people even try to behave, it's a total :censored:fest against the AI. As if the morons didn't cheat enough by rubberband physics and seemingly on-the-fly changeable tyres, they also rob you of the only way to get proper payouts - and just because they can.

The latest example, the Autopolis 30 laps Gr3 endurance. I had made it nearly 28 laps keeping it between the lines and not hitting anything until when accelerating downhill from the left-hand hairpin the :censored:head behind me, an RS01 that I had lapped for the second time already, decided to drag race (with which horsepower, if I may ask) my AMG GT3 into the next corner. I was on the extreme left with my wheels already on the white line, the :censored:er didn't even make it properly alongside but half a car length of overlap was enough to keep moving left into the space which I already occupied, tap my right rear quarter and that's it. No side touches allowed no matter how light, 220.000 Cr for that one tap, thank you very :censored:ing much.

  • The inability to customize what tracks play for the Race BGM, and the Menu BGM for that matter; there's a few licensed songs that aren't my type; I would easily replace the playlist with all of Gran Turismo's original music (mostly from Daiki Kasho)...if I had the ability to!
  • The same opponents in off-road courses in Arcade Mode/Custom Race. Why is it that when I select Gr.B opponents to race against in an off-road course...that my opponent is always an Audi Quattro S1 Pikes Peak? On top of that, why aren't there more opponents for races on off-road courses? Why must I always duel an Audi Quattro S1 Pikes Peak!? All of the rally cars in the game and it's always the fastest one that's my competition (not that it relatively matters; the AI is not really the best when it comes to racing on off-road courses, but even still, seeing the same opponent gets boring after a while).
  • The fact that I cannot use any of the Special Colors in the game unless I make a separate livery for them in the Livery Editor. Say I wanted to drive a Toyota S-FR in a special flaky lime green color; I can't do that unless I take two minutes to save and upload a "livery" of the car in that color. Not really worth the time to just change your color; might as well make a simple livery while you're at it. They should have implemented a "Special Color" option in the Color Selection, or allow you to assign a few custom colors to a few custom slots or something. If this wasn't done due to a coding exception, then that's understandable, but given how both Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6 handled custom colors, I'd suspect that implementing a Special Color selector isn't impossible.
  • The fact that there is absolutely nothing you can do with duplicate prize cars apart from removing them for no value, storing them or driving them. This makes it hard to not only sort cars in the Garage, but sometimes I don't know what cars have upgrades purchased with Mileage Points and what cars don't. There should be some sort of exchange or value to be received for duplicate prize cars, maybe being exchanged for Mileage Points or something? What am I gonna do with these seven Jaguar F-type Gr.4 cars sitting in my Garage?

Will they ever get rid of the invisible & perfectly smooth aura/force field surrounding every single car?

Not necessarily wanting an open wheeler to go airborne from wheel to wheel contact, but there should be greater risk when leaning or pushing opponents wide.
Also, with the current collision physics it's somewhat immersion breaking seeing multiple cars bumping each other like on pool- or air hockey table. Why can't you even flip a car online?

I believe this would make races more hectic and rewarding; while forcing more cautious and less optimistic behaviour on track, possibly even more than what heavy damage (or penalties) ever did.

P.S.S. In fact, penalties and heavy damage are cheatable, inconsistent and often just annoying.
And obviously, give an option to set it on/off - weak/real.

When you watch a replay it sounds like there's someone typing in the back ground. Not annoying but made me think I was hearing things for the longest time, removing the earbuds, looking around like a crazy person.

I've heard Trains, Birds, Planes, drones, Helicopters, etc..but no typists !!
So Maybe you are Crazy !!:lol:

The lack of customisation in suits. We've had four templates since the game launched. Even adding one where you can paint the arms and legs different colours would be a start.

Would be Nice if those of us that spent the extra Cash to get the Collectors Edition Boxset, with the Silver Chrome Helmet. Could actually customise that Helmet. 💡 (Even if only changing the background/main chrome colour)

As only offered in a Black & Goldy/brown coloured design.

Last night I went to see The National. They're a great band and if you don't listen to them you should, and if you've ever debated going to see them you definitely should. In the waiting time before they came on the sound system was playing songs as is the case at live musical performances, and as one of them came on I realised what it was in two weird, distinct states. I heard the first part of the opening riff but didn't think it was coming from the speakers, because it didn't seem clear or loud enough. I thought it was someone's phone or something. It also had that strange quality of something that you're intimately familiar with in one setting to the extent it sounds alien elsewhere. Once it kicked in properly though I knew that I was about to hear that stupid ****ing GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY, AND I'LL MAKE SOME ORIGAMI HONEY song in person. I even noticed some people had the temerity to be, apparently, enjoying it.

So I suppose the annoying thing here is that on the first night I was missing FIA races for probably several months, I still had the worst parts of the game's soundtrack being forcefed to me.
