Thanks a lot, you really whiped away all of my doubts about it :) thank you very much. After my post, I searched further, and found your post about Playseat :dopey:
I`m not going to order it via internet, I`m going to buy it in one shop in Zagreb ( the capital of Croatia, if you don`t know). The price is 2290 kn ( 300 €!! ups, until know I didn`t realise how much is that in euros :grumpy: ) what the hell, I am still geting it 👍 Only one question, how could I recognize the older version, so that I don`t end up buying it :nervous: o yeah, wich version have you got?

OK I got this thing yesterday and its great.

However I have a question. Is there supposed to be resistance side to side and a whining noise?

When I turn the wheel playing GT3 and get close to wheel lock it sounds like I'm stripping the plastic gears inside it!!! When I make a quick left to right motion with the steering wheel I'm certain I'm gonna break it.
 
I got it earlier on today, its great on gt3, 900 and rallying is a lot of fun, also, it handles very,very nicely wth nfsu2.

I watched a video of some dude using a dfp on the s16 licence test or something, looked staggeringly impressive, i cant wait to get gt4.

Also, i agree about the whining noise, its loud, but i dnt think its anything damaging, im surei read about it before and it aint a fault.

Overall, buy the wheel if you can, its awesome fun, and when gt4 arrives, its gonna be fantastic.
 
Yes yes! Just trying them now. RBR has great support for it on the PS2, and i had to use dxtweak on the pc to get similar results (i usually went with 360 degrees as it works with every car..).

Can somebody tell me how to use the DXtweak2 software???

What is the difference between raw and direct input???

Just read the post about the new driver. If I use this new driver, does this mean that I don't need the DXtweak software???

I just got my DFP and I thoroughly read the manual and other things that came with it. But it never mentioned the "codes" on how to switch to 900 degree mode or switching from 60% to 100%.
So can someone post ALL the known "codes" for the DFP.

if you'd bothered to look, you would have seen they are on the 1st page. You should download the drivers 46XX posted on the page before this.
 
Got my replacement wheel today, and it kicks butt :D They sent it on the 17th and it came today, the 18th. Damn fast if you ask me :)

WOT SITE DID U ORDER IT OFF OF... i orderd it about 5 mins ago off of e-directory.co.uk and they say it comes in 2-3 days , and i thought tht was quick.
 
It was straight from Logitech as a replacement, my first wheel didn't work. This one works great though, and came really fast!

if you took time to read posts, actually owned a DFP and tried it in Live For Speed or Some other PC game, you'd understand. But since you just want to be a postwhore, you dont.

You can force it into 900 degrees in any game, even if the game does not supports it.

I use it in Live for speed, and can adjust to whatever i want. Usually using 360degrees. :)

I'm using that table as my current workdesk.. I guess it'll work, but then again, any normal sized desk will work if you're planning to use something that big. It's not too tall, as my office chair is about 3 inches from it's lowest height right now. If you're going to use a car seat, it's way too high, more fit for the office chair, desk, TV ontop of the desk setup.

You're DFP will definitely clamp onto the table though, no problem.
 
question for you guys with the dfp, how much space do the clamps have in between them? ive got a table thats perfect size for me in my chair but its very thick, worried the clamps wont have enough room.

i did few laps in GTR Pres Demo with new drivers and they work perfectly! Now you can change the turnig ratio in the profiler and the Force Fedback will simulate a lock to lock turn 👍

If someone played the PS2 RBR with DFP,he should know how it works.
Now we've got the best and fully supported PC/PS2 wheel. :D

Everybody who owns a DFP and is using it for PS2 and PC , get this driver, it is perfect!!! I think you don't need that DXtweak thing anymore.

Hi, yeah I should be posting this in the right thread but i cant find one. This is df-p related.

Will the game still be good with the regular driving force wheel? Im thinking of using that for a while before i save up enough to get the pro
 
I downloaded it even don´t having the DFP, because when i got it, i will already have this driver. BTW, does it work perfect in 900 degree mode in most of games on pc, with this driver?
