you can change the responsiveness of the wheel in the settings. And if thats not enough you can use DXtweak2. well, i mean for the PC version. :) I'd just figured out that if i turned the responsiveness all the way up ingame, 900 mode is useable, but my wheel broke shortly after discovering this. Like.. if you turn up the steering responsiveness for the car, and then go to options and change things in there also. also, turning of centering spring force or turning it down.

How did you get the FF to workin live for speed? It won't work for me 900 Works but the FF won't work......

Download this:

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1788,contentid=5307

and, connect the logitech program to the LFS.EXE, then when its game, you can set the force feedback in game in the options menu.

Or Download this:

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1788,contentid=6203

( I'm gonna take a chance with this, I'm gonna download it myself and experiment with it. See if the DFP can work with it. So, If anyone beats me to the exerimenting, tell us what it does. )

Here's the weird part. I have that program installed. However it does not detect it as a DFP but just rather as a DF wheel. Second i don't get any FF even with that app yet i get Full FF on the PS2. Odd. I dunno im gonna go continue working on my cockpit GT4 is nearing.

TRY PRESSING SHIFT+C once your on the track. or.. imaybe it was ctrl+C or.. something. That makes the game reinnitiialize Force feedback. If that doesnt work i dunno.

maybe.. Alt_C?

Also, you will want to turn center spring force down in your Wingman Profiler Global FFB Settings. or your wheel will not respond quickly enough. I reccommend using DXTweak2 and changing Detection to 720° First before jumping right to 900 if you are drifting. FOr gripping 900 mode isnt hard. just much more steering work than anyone else around you is doing. I posted a few pages back with all the info on how to set the game up for LFS> well, its all the stuff I did from the start. :)

Nicely said, Gabkicks. 👍

Ok, I got my AC adapter and plugged it in, but my wheel still isn't working. It's just doing what it did without the ac adapter, help please :(

The right light is solid, the left is blinking, just like it did without the power supply... ugh. I don't know why this won't work!!!

Ok I am probably going to buy a DFP. I have a few questions. Is it plug and play? and does the wheel always come with the pedals? and how much did you pay for one (I will probably get one from ebay). I have seen that it works with all the games I have except TXR3 - anyone know if it will work with this? thanks for the responses.

well, its USB, and works well with PS2 and PC. You will probably have to callibrate the wheel for a few games. It comes with a break and gas pedal. all the buttons on a ps2 controller, paddle shifters, and sequential stick shifter. :)

Yes it's plug and play. All you have to do is go to the options screen in GT3 and pick which level of steering assist you want from beginner to simulation. Then you assign the buttons as you like, and finally run through the calibration sequence and then save your game. I bought mine new for $150 US way back when, I think you can find them cheaper now. And yes, Of course it comes with the pedals as well as the AC adapter.:)

Weird i tried some of the calibration tools for LFS and my wheel just went ****ing nuts. And i mean nuts it would just spin like mad and everytime i would recalibrate it would go nuts again. I give up. Im just gonna wait till GT comes out so i can have fun, on a plus note im almost done with my cockpit :dopey:

Hi I just got this wonderfull wheelset, but I cant turn on the 900 degree mode.

I hve tried the Select + R3 + Right Paddle combo, even holding it for a few seconds, but it dont work. The 100%FF was on right from the start when I first connected the wheel, the left led is on but the right led is not comming on :(

I have only tried it on the computer, as I dont have my PS2 yet its comming in a few hours though.

What can I do to turn on the 900 degree mode in Live For Speed? PLZ Help!

you pressed em all and held em for a few seconds and it still didnt work? I think someone else might have had the same problem about 3 pages back. You could call logitech and get some awsome Tech support like I did. :) Logitech Tech support pwns...!!

Have you checked your connections? Did you Run the Wingman profiler software? DXtweak2? Did you try different USB slots? maybe its the outlet? or something.

Alright, I just got off the phone with Logitech Tech Support, and actually had someone helpful. He's gonna send me a replacement within 5-7 days, so does anyone need a non-functional wheel? :P

told ya that Logitech Tech support is pwnage :) same thing for me. My replacement will be here by friday hopefully. i called in monday.

i got my dfp few days ago(for 80€) and it rules! i just dont have no cockpit..www.playseats.com say that the seats can be purchased from logitech.com online shop but i cant find anything about it can some one help me out??or does some one know where i could buy something like that in finland???

edit:damn i am blind the link was on the same page...but thx anyway...

hello GTPlanet! i need help with my Force Pro. The wheel works fine, just that it's a little wobbly (wobbles left and right). Does anyone know how i can fix this? Should i open it up and tighten it myself or something? Thanks

for what game? If its a pc game, you probably have FFB too high. You can turn it down in ur wingman profiler. or for PS2, press select, r3, and left paddle.

Can you guys recommend any decent PC games to use with the DFP?

I have obviously played the death out of Live For Speed, but that was before I got the Wheel and now it just aint that appealing anymore, mostly because I dont have any good lfs setup for the wheel.

How about Toca Race Driver 2, is it any good with the wheel and when comparing it to Gran Turismo? Is the game worth playing?

Richard Burns Rally is a must have with 540 degrees. 👍 A new GTr demo just came out with the ferrari 360GT and the seleen, i heard thats pretty good but my wheel broke so i'm not sure about that one.

Hm.. you might as well call tech support if you dont see the answer in here. TRUST ME!!!! Logitech Tech Support is PWNAGE!!!

ParanoidAndroid: my dfp does wobble when its on 200 degree mode(on gt4p) but i dont mind couse i use 900 degree...and it can be changed r3+select+right paddle..try it out,and its more fun driving with 900 degree...

Hello. I didn`t know where to put this post, so I will start with this topic. I plan to buy Playseat ( www.playseats.com ), but on one croatian forum I got warning from two guys: they said that Playseat is a peace of crap, that construction of Playseat will not hold long with ForceFeedback power of DFP, and that they doubt that Playseat is suitable for playing GT4 for a longer period of time, due to bad materials and low quality. Now, I haven`t tried out Playseat, and I am wondering if any of you guys had. If yes, can you please tell the truth about it. Thanks in advance!!

Greetings from Croatia!!

....hi I'm sure there is more than one threads containing information on playseat... anyhow, I bought one in December and I am very pleased with it it is not full on stable but definitely fair enough when putting on the screws really tight.... The guys you read about might have the earlier version of the playseat which is said to have been of much lower quality.....

I played GTP, Richard Burns Rally, Formula 1, GT3 as well as WRC 4 with the DFP and the playseat for HOURS, I am 1m 94cm tall and weigh around 95KG fitting still perfectly in the seat and it is really comfortable too ! From my point of view two thumbs up for the playseat...

The seat is really comfortable the DFP wheel can be perfectly attached to it (mine even came delivered with special stickers that prevents the pedals and wheel from moving any inch....)

I ordered it on www.gameorder.nl and I think you might get away a touch cheaper than ordering with playseats.com

Here in Switzerland by now you can get it for CHF 349.- (around 225 EUR!!!) check out this link: http://www.pcjoy.ch/default.asp?grp=5&subgrp=&status=detail&id=31129

...though you might have to ask by them by e-mail whether they can ship to croatia as one can not choose "croatia" as a country when setting up a login...

If any (language) help needed on this, feel free to get in touch.

Cheers

Thanks a lot, you really whiped away all of my doubts about it :) thank you very much. After my post, I searched further, and found your post about Playseat :dopey:
I`m not going to order it via internet, I`m going to buy it in one shop in Zagreb ( the capital of Croatia, if you don`t know). The price is 2290 kn ( 300 €!! ups, until know I didn`t realise how much is that in euros :grumpy: ) what the hell, I am still geting it 👍 Only one question, how could I recognize the older version, so that I don`t end up buying it :nervous: o yeah, wich version have you got?
