The Maggiore endurance race is unbelievably hard

This is the next race I want to win, does anyone have any tips/advice in regards to the latest updates?

If I remember properly, the main issue is Rubilar that has after lap 2 or 3 a strong pace and it is very difficult to catch at the end.
I read sometime ago that the solution is to "eliminate" him...
So I did a strong start, immediately overtaken some cars at T1 and others in the slow T2 in a not really gentle way.
Then still in lap 1 I reached Nubilar at the U curve and touched him out of the track...
He remained in the gravel waiting for all the cars passing and he rejoined as last diver and not capable anymore to reduce the gap with me.
I did al this at least 3-4 updated ago... so i don't know if this is still valid...

Good Luck!

The other solution would be using this opportunity to simply become a faster driver.

I did not accept being beaten by an AI this bad and that lead me from my first finish of P14 to beating this race with overlapping the AI.
I dont think there could be any change big enough to make it difficult to win (again), though I do admit I didnt win with the Skyline Silhouette in all my attempts 🤣

Thank you.

I have been looking around and on YT at some videos, everyone seems to use a different car though but with this last update they seem to have got BoP issues so idk if that will impact this race and if there is a certain car that is better to use.

I managed to win this race last weekend, on about my fourth attempt, using the Ferrari, two stops on RM, and no fuel mapping required. No skullduggery involved but a few robust passes early on, if you don’t get in the first few after the first few laps you’ve had it 😂. All gold now on human comedy ☺️.

The Ferrari is far from the meta this week in race B, but it’s very nice to drive. For the Human Comedy race I figure 30 average laps is better than spinning out a couple of times in a ‘faster’ car!

I went in this morning to this race, zero prep just to see how I would get on, went with the 911 and did the strategy most people say is the best, two stops on RM and fueling for eleven laps.

I did pit once by mistake! so three pit-stops in total.

I finished 18th 🙁 I was however catching the other cars towards the end.

I am playing on controller with VR and on auto shifting, I was on easy as well.

Some say, the difficulty settings affects these few events in reverse order.
Though it is supposed to have no effect on races that are marked with their own chilli rating (fixed difficulty).

Why 11 laps?
The fuel counter is very accurate as long as you dont change your driving style too much.
You almost can pinpoint refuel to 10 laps and last the just well enoug, and just for safety you can pull 0.3litres atop.

auto shifting
Thats the only "not ideal" thing ;)
Only a handful of cars are not different between manual and automatic shifting, but for most neither efficiency nor topspeed happen with automatic shifting.

I did wonder about this, I know some of the difficulty settings are reversed (in a way in some of these missions) but couldn't really find anything on this race.

Most guides from recent to old said to use RM and run for eleven laps.

😯 Which cars are better for auto shifting?

Just do 10/10/10 and be fine, precision is key in driving fast, and precise driving makes fuel consumption precise -> less weight -> less tirewear/more speed -> faster finish ;)
Generally you will finish with 30 laps on the counter, 31 laps is possible but usually not in reach for drivers asking for help.

No car is better, but not noticeably worse.
I think for example the McLaren 650 is doing fine in auto transmission mode.

I did this one couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed this one as it was a proper challenge. I tried Peugeot Rcz at first as someone suggested it. It felt quite easy to drive, but I just couldn't do it. I was too slow.

I then tried Mercedes Amg gt.3 20 and my laptimes improved about 2 seconds being average 1.58. It was a fun race. I changed difficulty to hard. I don't know if there was any difference.
