The Maggiore endurance race is unbelievably hard

Tried the Jag and finished 15th, also tried the Renault RS.01 and finished 17th.

idk both seemed to go well, I was up to 6th in both at the start after a couple of laps, but the cars just fell away, in the Renault just now, I got lapped when I was in the pitts on my second stop on lap 20!

Yesterday I finished 11th with the Ford GT 18 and just now 14th in the Jaguar.

Both cars I got up to 4th place before I pitted on lap 10, just now in the Jaguar, pitted in 4th exited in 20th, then lap 20 I pitted in 10th and exited in 18th!

I don't understand how I pit from 4th exit in 20th but then never get back anywhere near to the position I pitted from, I know the cars are on different strategies, but it isn't making sense to me, I know I am not good enough or fast enough, but it honestly seems to me the other cars are cheating! I had Roudiber in sight (in the distance) when I pitted from 4th and he's supposed to do an extra stop iirc.

I am never going to beat this race.

he's supposed to do an extra stop iirc.
The AI sometimes does (or did, I dont think the current BoP will require it) an extra stop if you can put enough "pressure" on it so it has to waste more fuel or tyres to stay around you.

I am never going to beat this race.
You need to find out where you are slow in order to try and be faster.
A starting point would be doing the circuit experience and just see how you do there.
The time does not compare, because the CE are done with BoP disabled - the car is faster, but you have a sector by sector training to try and a ghost to constantly follow.

I am never going to beat this race.
Have you posted any video of any of your attempts?
