Doth1sNo Idea. You might find some info on discogs about it.
Not yet BUT I did recently buy a signed copy of Goatwhore's 'Carving out the Eyes of God' for $6 It's #484 of 666 and has two booklets, one signed one not - not sure if that's how they all came?
88FoxBodyFanI think that's one of those deals where the guy that originally bought it was on Goatwhore's mailing list, so he got first dibs on a limited signed edition. I bought that cd the day it came out and I got only one unsigned booklet.
Is this from that collection that guy sold that you were talking about earlier in this thread? If so, the guy was obviously a serious metal fan. That woman he's with must have some good.... uh... let's saying cooking (to not violate any site rules) to make him give up a metal collection like that.
Edit: Just read the post above mine. If that's an oringinal pressing Of Effigy Of The Forgotten, it's worth a fair amount of money nowadays also. Pretty much the only way to find it now is as a double release with Pierced From Within. I bought an original pressing still in the packaging a couple of years ago and it was $23 then. (2008 maybe? My memory is a little (purple) hazy.)
88FoxBodyFanOn another note, I've listened to a couple songs off Meshuggah's new album Koloss. What I've heard so far is pretty good. These guys are usually pretty consistent when it comes to releasing decent material.
MÜLE_9242;6948880Listening to the new Accept album, Stalingrad. Kicks ass so far, for sure.
I need to get that Kreator album. I haven't heard anything by them since their '80s work.
SlashfanTheir old stuff was better.
MÜLE_9242;6997880And I'm supposed to care why, exactly?
Gotta get Venom and Blitzkrieg's discogs too someday.
Likewise.
Now, I wonder if Pantera will ever re-release their first 4 albums. That would be far-out. All there is is just a bunch of bootlegs 👎. I want the real deal.
I didn't say you were supposed to. Defensive much? I was just stating that I prefer listening to their prime stuff more so than the latter. It's a matter of opinion.
I have a real copy of Power Metal. Cost me a pretty penny, though.
MÜLE_9242;7001584Not really my fault that you came off as one of those idiots who always go around saying "lol [_____] sucks now their old stuff is better lol."
Kind of ironic, seeing as how you were talking about Kreator earlier, which is a band who gets that a lot.
My favorite! I bet it would cost a lot, hence why I'll wait this one out It worked for The Ultra-Violence.
Is there a way to tell because they have copies of their first 4 albums on Amazon for $17/cd.
Edit: I'm guessing they are fake as they are all the same person selling them.
Having not been reissued since its original release on CD, vinyl and cassette, like their previous albums, official non-bootlegged editions of Power Metal have become collectors items, with any that exist often being circulated through online auction websites such as eBay.
On a side note, I found a new band today.. The singer reminds me a lot of Dio! & I was very surprised to find out they're a relatively new band (Formed in 2002).
