The Metal ThreadMusic

Hell yeah, just purchased my ticket to the Rammstein show on May 20th at the Fourum in LA.

Anyone else going?

Glad to see they are doing shows here now.👍

Hopefully they are still allowed to do their usual stuff, it's not a Rammstein show without flame throwers.

Have Fun.

Metal Album of the Day Testament - The Formation of Damnation

AWESOME album, start to finish.

As for the subject of Rammstein, that's a sore subject with me. The closest they've played to me is NYC, which is about a 6-8 hour drive depending on traffic. Went to buy tickets for the show in December at Madison Square Garden, but the show sold out in about 15 minutes and I couldn't skip class to buy tickets.:( There is no band I haven't seen that I want to see more than Rammstein. I've got one of their DVDs and their live shows are beyond anything words can describe.

And their german :D
I always love to see, that americans love other things from germany than just our cars :P

Rammstein was never a band, that I listen to permenantly. But some Songs are quite cool.

Here's a band for you all to check out I mentioned earlier. Shawn Drover, currently of Megadeth, and his brother Glen, formerly of Megadeth, are the driving force in this band.

Anyone here likes any Suffokate? Pretty good deathcore band

When I went to Florida, to visit my cousin 2 years ago, I saw Suffokate during my vacation at Florida.

Good show, Ricky sounds better in live :)

Well I like King Conquer, so I sure like Suffokate as well.

I couldn't listen to them all the time, because the music is a little dull for me, but quite cool band though.

I received the "Changes" LP from For The Fallen Dreams... you should check them out as well.

Guys

guys

guys...

check this out:

what?
very interesting idea, but not as good as it could be, and the vocalist sucks
What vocalist? I can only hear a mix of metal and Nintendo synths in that song.
I prefer HORSE, the band in that department:

But have to reckon, Machine Supremacy - Elite is a pretty good song:

I'll have to give them a closer listen. 👍

Sounds pretty cool, it's like some sort of mix between All that Reamins and Unearth.
_____________

This week I've been listening to allot of Portuguese Metal:

My cousin band, The Spiteful:

Endamage

Moonspell

Enjoy! ;)

The Human Abstract got theit new video up... like this a lot more than the "Midheaven" - Stuff! Nice Technical Metalcore!

I just decided to take a look at them bought both their Nocturne album and this one. I love Harbringer off of Nocturne. 👍

Anyone heard Devildriver's album Beast? Dead to Rights is effin awesome. Just pure in-your-face, skull-crushing metal. I love it. :D

Thanks for freaking reminding me. I've been lazy on my music acquisitions lately and I new a big one was missing. Totally going to grab that and toss it on the pod and listen to it when I'm at the gym.

It feels like just yesterday they released Pray for Villians. Which was awesome.

EDIT: Just listened to Dead to Rights and I am looking forward to this album. But holy crap has Dez come a long way. I can defiantly see this album making a few car alarms go off :mischievous:

FTFD is such a great band. Even with there new singer. They're still a great band. Cant wait for there upcoming album. The clean vocals that they have such as the one in "Strange Faces" was still good. I like it 👍

@Blackbird.: I don't like the new Devildriver at all.

@jdmy: Yep, I would like to see them live so bad, like there Breakdowns ^^

A album which I am really looking forward to, is the new one from Amon Amarth

Here are some songs:

Such a great riff!

Dang man you have to See FTFD. I just saw them with Oceano, they played one hell of a show.

Not a big fan of Amon Amarth, but War Of The Gods that you just shared was amazing. They sound so different from their older stuff =0

Problem is, FTFD haven't been to Germany but once if I can remember right. And that was in Cologne @ the Never Say Die! - Tour.... 150km away :D

@Amon Amarth: They changed their sound quite heavyly. They produce their albums better, meaning the overall production. It's more "Mass-suitable". Like all of their work!
Have every album of them :D

Good News!

sylosisedge.jpg

Sylosis will release a new album soon!

Like this band very much. Like their unique sound, what is quite difficult in Modern Metal today!
And I don't know if the new vokillist is already on that album, but the Vocals remind me of Myke Terry (Bury Your Dead) a lot, which is not a bad thing!

Devin Townsend Project - Deconstruction is gonna be a killer album.

A bit of language, footage of a urinal in full flow, boobies and utter killer metal. Enjoy.

I got Addicted on Friday (Ki should be on its way too) and its been on pretty much non-stop all weekend. Alothough its not full blown metal, the way the music is done is quite amazing.

Very much looking forward to Deconstruction though.

New Scar Symmetry! :D Here's a track from their new album thats due out in April. I'm glad they are making music that fits the new singers. I still miss Christian Alvestam though.

Also, those videos of Devin Townsend's new stuff sounds amazing. I can't wait for Deconstructed.

WHAT, That was awesome! They almost completely changed their sound!

Frig it, here's some of the stuff I'm listening to lately.

Also anxiously awaiting the new Amon Amarth album. I've been listening to metal now for a while. The first metal I listened to was Haunting the Chapel by Slayer (with Chemical Warfare still holding a dear place in my heart;) ). Tastes now range all over the metal spectrum (and outside).
