What the hell is wrong with what you guys call "annoying" wishes!?

Working reverse lights excist on IRL cars so why wouldn't they in GT5?

3D spectators gives an extra nice touch to the graphics, so what's so wrong with that to be wanted in a realistic game like GT5?

Skidmarks is a must if you want a realistic racing game! Especaly when they'll probably have a drift mode!

:ouch:

Why not have real petrol stations where you can actually buy fuel and perhaps a Mars Bar whilst you're at it?

Some things that would seem to add realism, are actually pretty superfluous to the game. Working break reverse lights and 3D spectators are two of them.

I like working brake lights. Stops me nailing into the car in front.

lol, so you're saying those tings are completly pointless??

I'd say those tings are irrelevant rather than pointless.

If you are sat there looking at the spectators, or travelling slow enough to notice how the spectators are modelled or even using the reverse gear - then you are not playing the game in the way it was intended to be used. IMO. ;)

To me it seems insane to spend thousands of hours making a realistic racing game only to go and leave something out like working reverse lights. A fully 3D crown is not really viable as it uses far too many resources which could be used for other parts of the game.

Also, if somebody spins out during a race and is about to reverse to get back on a track, I would like to know about it so I can avoid them.

The thing is that PD won't leave anything out for these details.. They're just nice touches to get it complete!

Why not put something that makes hatches and juvenile cars drive like crazy and then older cars to be slow as hell too?

q.v. Juan Manuel Fangio + story about avoiding an accident

jeese! you're a funny mother******!!

That had better be a reference to -Diego-'s sex change and a 6-star rating.

So because you don't like the fact that some of your favorite wishes are called annoying, you had to make a thread for it?

What the hell is wrong with what you guys call "annoying" wishes!?
Simple, They listed what they found annoying.

Might I ask what are those reverse lights are gonna be used for? I can understand if there was a cruise mode or something, but I seriously don't see where in the game would they would be useful.

While its a nice touch on any game really, Are you really gonna notice this while you going 229 MPH, fighting for the lead?

Again, are you gonna notice this?

If anything, this thread seems not to have any annoying complaints in particular, but is more aimed at telling people these wishes aren't annoying when you could have done this same thing by simply posting in the "Most Annoying GT Wishes - Hall Of Fame" Thread.

I agree, why create a new thread on it? And anyways, not all cars are going to have reverse lights (i.e. race cars and rally cars) so how would you know that they are backing up? It doesn't really matter, they are just lights that would be used maybe 10% of the time at most.

Couldn't this all be expressed in the other thread? I sense this deal could be merged with the other topic amar212 provided.
