I never noticed as the green, eco-friendly brainwashing was attempting to take hold.

And have you seen the Power Rangers? Red ranger has Native American background, black ranger is black, yellow ranger is Asian, pink ranger is a girl, and blue ranger is a nerd that never gets laid.

Sounds just like every Power Rangers line-up, ever... which is this? Turbo-Dino-Mega-Force?

What about - The Mod.
A super hero who fights rockers on his Vespa while wearing a super dapper 2 button suite?

hahaah, I'm laughing quite hard now. I'd read Famine's... err... The Mod comics.

As for the new Spider Man... I also remembered way back when Superman died and then about other 5 dudes poped up, and then they found some way to explain how these guys came to be and how Superman actually returned from death. It was weird but they got away with it.

I cannot see, however, how Marvel is gonna explain this new guy. Another spider bite? come ON.

That's really the only part that makes me curious about it.

How come they don't just create a new super hero more in tune with the modern world?

A hipster beta-male who calls his therapist & lawyer whenever something bad happens? His super power can be whatever he/she/it can find in an app store and their proverbial cryptonite can be whatever it is they prescribe for adult ADD.

I think that would be hysterical in that an author can use this character to call the modern day, purse carrying, ironic t-shirt wearing, cry at the end of movies man a wimp.

I only know of the original. I have no clue what the cast looks like in the other versions. I only needed a single viewing of the original to know it as crap. I saw more episodes when my Tae Kwon Do instructor showed them to us and said, "Don't do this," than I saw of my choosing.

As long as we're not the Guntron Alliance, I'm cool with that.

William H. Macy can play me, he's quite white and can act like a complete straightman-doofball.
