Similarly, the key for a Nissan Micra and a Nissan GT-R is basically identical. Think I've driven a few quite expensive cars before that share their keys with something much less exotic! You get a nice Lambo badge for $150-250,000 more.![]()
Massive levels of speculation (Yamamoto isn't even referencing the next-gen in that fourth paragraph and a three-cylinder unit is a complete guess) and a healthy dose of the bleeding obvious (Mazda will continue to make MX-5s lighter? Well I never!)NE Miata could get carbon fibre in it's construction and smaller engines. Don't expect it before 2021 though.

The MX-5 has a long life cycle compared to other cars. The first generation was eight years, the second generation also eight years, and ten years for the third. The fourth generation is not going to be an exception
Is this center-exit diffuser a thing or is that a custom piece too? Seems like a lot of Solidworks work for a part that will only sell for V8 conversions. This is what the exhaust looks like on the Flyin' Miata V8 ND. True dual, front to back.

Normally I'd be down for that, but not in a Miata/Fiata...Which V8? A Ferrari V8?![]()

- 2016 Miata GT: 2328 lbs, 52.1% front
- 2016 Miata Club: 2313 lbs, 52.3% front
- 2017 Fiat 124 Spider Classica: 2412 lbs, 54% front
- 2017 RF Miata GT: 2421 lbs, 50.8% front
I'll assume with the top up only, but I can ask.Was the RF Miatas weight distribution checked with roof up and down?
