And then VTiRoj: You did note my times aren't TA ones, correct ? :P, If you want, and It'd make you feel better (:sly:) I could make a run tomorrow and see how fast I can get it to go

Edit* (I knew I'd forget something) Yes, RJ's ITR is a death-trap in the wrong hands, but fun as hell for me, The only other FR handling FF I've ever driven besides that one flashy Celica (The tuned Red one, can't remember manufactor's name)

Go on then, I dont mind its the slowest, but if your offering to take it as fast as it can go, then by all means go for it! :D:tup:

I think you mean the Trial Celica.

First off, Yep thats it, the Trial Celica, Has the FR handling but a more gentle ride
(It was buging me that I couldn't remember it)

I'll probably give it a run after school tomorrow

Sweet, looking forward to it! :D:tup:

Note: The power button on my PS2 isnt working so ill be shipping it out.

Know how you feel dude, I felt empty when my first PS2 broke. Mine was the common laser failure though, not a power switch.

Seeing it IS a PS2 and not a PS3 and PS2's are now pretty cheap, just open your PS2 up and do some DIY fuse/switch replacement and if you stuff it up, a replacement PS2 is cheap enough these days ($80AUD here, about the same as a new release game). :D Or find your local computer geek and get him to fix it for a spindle of blank DVD-R's.

OK Rotary Junkie, I tried sending you a PM but your storage space is supposedly maxed out. So, I need to know which Mazda RX-8 your entrant is, please enlighten me. The only cars left to buy now are RJ's mystery RX-8, dimplz's as yet unappeared MX-5 and Snyp's too expensive for my current situation Elise.

RX-8 Type S.

The only one that makes sense. ;)

Thats how I figured it out early , and now I have all the cars needed (an extra 3 pages worth to sort through, thanks a lot guys :P)

Also Roj, the quickest T1 I could get out of your Accord was a 0'40.041, but momentum is a key to its speed here, so it can go a little bit faster, I just kept running into issues with it (understeer just when I don't want it, etc)

So when does the next class kick off ? :sly:

40.0 is pretty much what I was aiming for with the Accord to begin with, I'm happier knowing it can achieve that. Thanks Kurei. 👍

Its been a week or so, when's Kent going to start the next leg of the event ?, I've got the whole weekend to myself and I'd like to do as much testing possible with it before monday

Read post #956 of this thread on previous page Kurei. ;) Better start testing now, and be ready just to put them up straightaway. :)

Speaking of which, I wonder how Kent's going testing our FWD cars and judging them?? :)

Kent has probably gone shopping for food in your Primera. ;) But then realising the Accord has a bigger boot, he went back, got the Accord and got more food in the boot. :P Hence why my Accord will score more points for practicality than your Primera. :sly:

And considering how much SLOWER it is to the Primera, he won't be back till Tuesday.:P -pts. for you!! :P

Well you can't drive fast with a boot full of shopping anyway, you'll spill the milk, duh.

Umm, he won't be back till Tuesday if he wasn't filling the boot up. ;) With a full shopping load.......I expect Thursday night, maybe Friday.

Well I just bought each car, and as mafia_boy pointed out earlier there's 11 of us! This is the best turnout ever for a TC. Well done guys  I am just about to begin building the cars (should cost over $2mil :scared:) and then begin judging. As a judge I'm learning from feedback as well from last time. Last time I focused mainly on the negatives of each car, this time expect a much happier judge, with decent reviews on each car hopefully.

Edit: I have now bought and built all the cars (not tuned yet, only parts bought). There are actually 12 of us it would seem. Even better! :dopey: (I forgot to count my own car go figure). Looking at the parts bought it seems some cars look like they're going to be a little under done, no worries though. I'm sure they'll all be great cars nonetheless. Just........some could have been greater.

I've also started testing, started a few cars, and I got a question on Synp's Lotus

Im a little confused on your Tranny settings, you want us to eventually set it to 2, yet the actual setting for it is 1, on the pic at least, exactly what do you want us to do to set it up right ?

All cars are tuned and ready to drive, this is the fun part coming now. I also figured byt doing it this way, I won't remember which cars have what parts bought and what parts tuned how. I can now only assess cars for how they drive, no sub-conscious biased thinking towards cars with better parts bought, or more parts tuned. :dopey: First up, Roj's NSX.

Well, now I'm really nervous, the NSX-R is the only car I entered and didn't change the settings while it was posted because I felt they were perfect as they were. Lets see if 1 and a half years of tuning pays off. :nervous:

I'll just tell you, the only thing I've done so far is set a hot lap in each one, I haven't written any reviews just yet. So I can tell you with reasonable confidence who the fastest 3 cars are.
Fastest: Snyp's Elise (by almost a full second  )
2nd fastest: Roj's NSX
3rd Fastest: My ASL.

RJ, because you asked nicely I'll just tell you that you are 4th fastest. Your car has nothing wrong when accelerating, but the brakes are a bit shotty.

Edit: Oh yes, and I'm very disappointed that 1/3rd of the field can't even beat the Touge Monster, simply because a few of them held back unnecessarily on power, or some other part.

It's a conflict of interest because touge isn't traditionally associated with big power. In addition, the chosen judging sector has disproportionately long straights relative to the remainder of the sector.

I predicted as much. When it comes to RWD warfare, Midship rules. :sly: Suprised by the Elise though, over a second? Dayum. :ill:

How much faster was the NSX-R over the ASL?

While that bit's true, it's not just that. If your car has similar power levels you shouldn't expect such a huge margin of victory on either side. I mean, not everyone went overkill with the PWR like yourself, Roj and the other big hp/low weight cars did Holdenboy. ;) If this was just based on sector times, I would've just brought out an Elise 190 fully worked and gone hectic like Snyp did with his Elise. :)

maybe you would like to suggest a more, appropriate course, Mr. know-it-all..,

AND would you also suggest a power limit??
