Dig those later AMC wheels.
This time an earlier Rambler American, a 220 post sedan rather than the top trim (albeit with a six) Rogue.

The later AMC aluminum wheels look a real treat on these little cars. Also dig those gorgeous front fenders of the '64-5.

I posted a first generation Lightning with second generation Lightning wheels. Here's the wheels that were replaced (okay so probably not the very same wheels) on a Bullnose F-150.

I'd like to think it also has the first generation Lightning's 5.8 under the hood, but I just don't know and I suspect it does not.

Mazda B2600i on black Isuzu snowflakes. Black was the way to go for this truck but they'd be more visible in silver.

Ditto FZJ80. Alas it's a tiny picture.

Edit: Derp. Looks like Toyota used this style wheel on the 80s for the first couple of years.

oh so that's where all the S10 wheels went when all the IROC-Z wheels went on all the S10s (after all the Sawblades went on the IROC-Zs).

One man's garbage...

Plenty of first gen S-trucks have them, as well as the earlier second gen 16" alloys (also RPO ZQ8, which doesn't help) that look suspiciously like third gen Camaro wheels.

We're into the deep cuts now
Hey, I love those wheels and I like those vans. I posted a Pacer with those wheels a while back.

I'm just awestruck by how well those 15" aluminum Chrysler J-body (Dodge Mirada, non-LS Chrysler Cordoba) 10-spokes suit this Pacer X. The car was originally equipped with 14" wheels.

Those look like Chrysler caps, but I'm betting AMC "volcano" caps would work. If the bolt holes don't line up (I'm thinking they just might), you could probably braze some additional material onto the backside and tap them in the correct location...or even fill and re-drill the wheels.

My old Skoda Fabia VRS it’s on VW Touareg 17’s they are actually Porsche fitment (5x130) I already had the adapters. Powder-coated chrome.

Before the Touareg wheels it was on Porsche Cayenne winters also 17” I had them powder coated white.

The car was on coils, and had numerous other mods

GMC Typhoon on RPO N73 magnesium wheels optioned for C5 Corvettes. Notably, they are almost assuredly the same size (Tys are AWD and it's unlikely she's running different ratios front and rear--plus they look the same) which means they probably came from two sets as they were staggered 17/18". They appear to be 17".

A couple of AWD Astros, one on Impala SS wheels and the other on those from a Tacoma.

A friendly reminder that these could be equipped as either 5-lug (5") or 6-lug (5.5") depending on year.

Now see I never cared for them--I don't really like directional wheels unless they're mirrored for the other side of the car, and they rarely are. But that does remind me that I found a second generation Granada coupe on them to post some time back but never did. Cobra wheels are definitely better in black because they aren't so obviously directional.

Is this the most bizarre Fox to modify? Maybe a bustleback Continental holds that particular title, even if I love them.

Anyway, still on Foxes, here's an '83-6 Cougar on '91-3 Mustang GT 5-spokes.

Love these era Thunderbirds. Mainly because of the turbo’s manual transmission. I’d prefer the round nose though.

Not a fan of this combo, if it has to ride that high for the wheel/tyre package.

It appears to sit just about exactly like a later Cobra. If anything, it may be lower. I think the lack of skirts tricks the eye.
