Can someone please recommend a method for getting a decent screenshot? Is it as simple as taking a picture of the tv screen with a digital camera? :dunce: :boggled:

If you digital camera can take clips (like mine) do this-- take a clip of your screen-- you can scroll through your stats for multiple records or whatever...upload to your PC-- place the clip-- hit pause-- you should be able to scroll back and forth in the clip to the spot you want--

hit the "print screen" button on your PC.

Go into any image program-- create a new image with maximum size-- go to edit and paste-- your whole screen should be in the image-- crop this to the desired size and save.

I've been doing it this way almost a year now--- they aren't perfect but better then before.

Spuds.

I'm not sure how to execute a superjump in SA. I tried it the same way as in VC but it doesn't work.

Can't you just use whatever you drove there in?
Various curcumstances, including my stubborn commitment to not saving very much, have lead to me doing that mission at least 3 times recently, and the car I drove there in has never dissapeared.
If it's giving you that much trouble, you could just leave a car in the garage in Dillimore. That one getting shot to death between there and the respray shouldn't be a problem.
My car always disappears... :(

Yay, I beat it. Now I am at the part of the Zero missions. I was gonna try them, but I got distraced and went Oyster hunting. :nervous:

Oh, the 2 first Zero missions are pain in the ass :dunce: The last one is really easy.
Good luck with them ;) 👍

Crap, thought this was the convo thread!

Your best post ever in your sig is quite a good post, however you omitted to include any pix of Lucy Pinder in there.

I suggest you edit it quick.

👍

The first one will be easy. I have a little thing called a mouse at my disposal. ;)
The second one is another story. I never beat it in the PS2 version! :dunce:

Hehe; you get to shoot with a mouse, but you have to fly with a keyboard.
:ill:

I have 16 snapshots. :sly:

I had 0 in the PS2 version, since I didn't know what they were!

PS
Do you have a button you could assign to auto-aim? Like right-click or something?
No, they don't let you auto-aim if you have a mouse. It's more fun manually aiming all the time anyways. More like a third-person shooter. 👍

no you don't have to. it is possible to fly with mouse, but it is extremely difficult. i tried flying the zero mission with mouse a few times but it did not work out, so i tried it with keyboard and got it the first time.

Im VERY pi**ed off today. Me and my brother were playing 2 player on GTA SA and my cousin came in and sat on my brothers controller cable and instead of asking my cousin to move, he yanked the remote, pulling the PS2 out of the cabinet. It made a loud thud but the game was still running. I thought i better turn it off before the disk could scratch the lens. I took the disk out and there was a HUGE scrach along the disk!! I tried to clean it and i also cleaned the lens and then while praying, put the disk back in. The game went to the loading screen and loaded to about 3/4 and then the PS2 started making a weird noise, and then i got an error message and then the PS2 crashed!
Luckily theres no damage to the PS2(i hope) but now i cant play SA :( :( i was on 93% game completion too.

I feel for ya. Something like that happened to me with Final Fantasy X. It was the second day I had the game, so I returned it the next day and said it was like that when I got it.

You could always try a CD Scratch remover...

Guys i need some help. Whats the best Vehicle and area to do the vigilante missions
Oh and i also got the disk to work again and ever since, ive been playing HARD! (you dont miss it until its gone eh?)

Rick: The Hunter is still the best for vigilante. You can't just hang out at the airport like you would have in VC though. I did my vigilante missions in LV (because there's no hills), but I think that probably wasn't a good idea, too many tall buildings. Next time I'll be trying LS, it's only got one slope, really, and most of the buildings are short.
Don't forget that you can get out of your vehicle for a while now, there's much more room for creative approaches to freelance law enforcement.

Silverzone: If you just started, taxi missions will really help you learn the layout of the city. Good for money, too.

Yea that worked thanks!! I had to do it 4 times becuse i kept pressing R3 accidentally. :dunce: :dunce: I started in the desert and ended up in the frests in LS. I went up to 24 missions before i called it a day, that was soo fun. Im very impressed with the Hunter because i flew it into quite a lot of trees, cliffs etc.. and its not even smoking
Now i need a statergy on the firefighting mission. I keep running out of time. Those stupid little people keep running around. Its like they enjoy being on fire! And tips for the firetruck??
Flame-returns
The best vehicle for law enforcement is, of course, the Rhino.
I was also thinking about that earlier but their too slow.

Flame-returns
fire the gun backwards to build up speed.

Ive done the vigilante mission. I now need help on the firefighting mission :indiff:

Also shooting the gun backwards gets me too many stars and you cant control the turret seperately from the view in SA. Why did they change that??

Silly, isn't it?

I don't think I have much helpfull to say about the firetruck missions.
-Aim with the R stick (obviously).
-Use the handbrake to hold you in place while you put out the fire.
-Don't worry about people running away, they'll stop and just stand still before going too far.
-When putting cars out, aim at the fire, not just anywhere on the car.
-Try to come up on the broadside of the car. When the passengers on your side get out you'll be able to pin them to the side of the car with water and they'll be put out fairly quickly.
-Pinning the enflamed against buildings, other cars, etc. helps a lot too.
-Don't run anybody over. It's a really annoying way to fail.

All pretty obvious. I've gone through to level 12 at least 5 times hoping for a Hotknife to spawn, there's really no trick to it.

i did the firefighter missions in SF as its the easiest city to navigate without all the on and off ramps and such. the key is to get the first 4 lvls, once you have 2 cars to get to its way easier.

Plus all of Emohawks suggestions, you should find it not that hard.
