Seeing a Veyron...

What oils my gears? Celicaas and I did a challenge on GT2 to see who could get the best time. And I won :D. I had to work my ass off to beat his time around High Speed Ring. A lot of powersliding.

Congrats Bubble!. I can never really like the atmosphere of a band. When it comes to making music, I want it to be my way. With my Fender G-Dec 3 I can think that way. I can do rythym and then add the lead tracks. Only problem is generic drum tracks. But not a big deal. Anyway, congrats to ya.

Ahhhh generic drum tracks... I hate those, probably because I'm a drummer.

Thanks.

That I tried out for a band and made it!

Well done. 👍

Anyway, G3 Oiled my Gears, it was just so amazing to witness Steve Vai playing in person. Steve Lukather opened up and was mindblowing. Though really my favourite player would have to have been Joe Satriani. He looks like an alien but he can really play! But as a person Steve Vai seemed more dedicated to his fans. As soon as everyone bowed down to end the show, Steve (Vai) was signing things before even leaving the stage. And the old dude that wasn't one of the main guitarists needed to realize... It's G3, not G4. He was a good guitarist, but not compared to the other guys. It was a superb experience and I didn't get excited about going there or being there at any point. (that's normal for kiwi's, we're not an excitable bunch)

Music oils my gears, because itkeeps me doing homework. Normally I'd be up this late doing nothing, but with music it is a good distraction while doing homework, but it helps me concentrate.

It makes sense to me.

What oils my gears? When a Girl chooses to text ME FIRST.

Driving on country roads doing a number of miles per hour, and theres no traffic, and a great song comes on.

@Skython: I've never read the book. What oils the shy in real life Vandenal? Well, I have 6 games of bowling today. 3 for playoff action today, and 3 in case I'm not there next Sunday (Intrepid has some transmission problems and they're worsening). I'm going to have fun, fun oils my gears. Though the girl I was going to hang out with has dance class today. Meh, no big deal I guess.

Today has been a great day. That is a major gear oiler. Badminton with my wife, F1, GP2 and in 15 minutes, indycars. Hope the indy can live up to the F1.

Awesome Sunday oils my gears. Great weather, hanging out with friends, riding my bike, all shops in town are open for business, and general springtime madness.

Bought myself Led Zeppelin II and IV to complete my collection as well. 👍

People keep thinking I'm some kind of legend on GT5. Just because I always roll in a Supercar Convoy on cruise servers, usually all Matte White. I was in a Matte White 8C streak yesterday, there were 6 of us. And as we parked up, everyone kept stopping and asking questions. Would anyone here like to roll in a Convoy with me? Just have a flashy car in stock form, and make it the same colour as one of mine. It is Gear Oiling when people think your special.

A few months ago I stopped playing Portal 2 because I was confused as 🤬 but I picked it up today and beat the puzzle I was stuck on. It seems so obvious now. :boggled:

Reading a really good book oils my gears.

What book are you reading?
I'm reading Bourne Ultimatum by Robert Ludlum at the moment, but I think I shouldn't have skipped the first two...

If you don't already have it, III is a must buy.

I always thought I was the best.

Tech-Happy birthday!

Do all you guys read books that were made into action films? :dopey:

Anyway, it oils my gears that what I thought was strep throat seems to be getting ever so slightly better. I chose to avoid the doctor's office today, and I still see no white spots. There apparently have been a lot of cases of strep this week, and my girlfriend got it a few nights ago. Being my girlfriend, we kissed a little, so that's why I was so convinced I have it. No white spots yet, though. Also, I finished the last 270ish pages I had left in the first Hunger Games book. I usually hate reading, but if it's a good book I can't put it down. This is one of those, as I spent all day Saturday relaxing in the poconos reading. I was supposed to go see the movie today, since my girlfriend read the book as well, but I didn't know that my throat would magically stop feeling so terrible. Also, I got to drive my dad's GTO across country roads to the poconos, and the LS1 sounds awesome at redline, even with the stock exhaust.
