The ONE car you want to see in GT6

There are a couple of BMW's I would love to see. But since this thread's title is "The ONE car you want to see..." I will go with OP. The very first Dodge Viper RT/10. I know we've had the RT/10 before, but I'm talking about the oldest one. The one that lacked a roof, windows and had those strange three spoke wheels.

How about the road version of the most amazing LMP ever?

It was actually not an LMP but a GT1 car, hence the name. ;)

A loophole mind you, just as many "GT1" cars were at that time. Actually, the fact that it was a GT1 car and not an LMP is the sole reason the road car edition even exists (homologation), so we can be greatful for that.

I just heard that GT6 will allow us to make any custom model car, whether street, race and rally cars. Is it true? I'll be happy to know.

How about the Transtar Dagger GT's

And it's got 2700 HP

Let's hope that the success of a project doesn't have any correlation to the quality of their promotion material.

Cause that thing (and their entire website) is awful.

And while on the topic of their website, it seems like they're a bunch of drag racers and land speed record holders that now wants to attempt to build a car that can turn. Good luck with that. Hopefully, the budget for seatbelts, air bags and deformation zones is more similar to the budget they're spending on the engine and not at all like the pennies they're tossing at the web designers and the CAD artists.

Seat Leon CUP Racer, have you seen it at Goodwood ? GoodLord its great

Looks good apart from when the guy driving nearly put it in the wall at Molecombe (where I was sitting) fortunately had the camera ready when it happened.

Back on topic:
I would love to see some more Fords, Escort Cosworth, Sierra RS500, Mondeo ST220, Focus RS500 and so on.

The Dagger GT has not been cancelled. You'd obviously need a lot of testing for a 300 mph car. So it's kinda okay to have just these renders- remember the Veyron, even with VW at the helm.
The production of the Dagger GT was scheduled for 2011.

The Veyron was presented in 1999 as a study model (already is something more than a render :P)
The start of production was subsequently decided, between the announcement and the working prototype have been less than 24 months, the rest was to make perfect the project, an ambitious project, with an "infinite" budget and the obstinacy of Piëch... about the Dagger GT we have only theoretical numbers and ultra ambitious performance goal.

Also, I agree with eran0004, even from the renders you see the seriousness of a project...

I started this discussion because I think that Gran Turismo in the first place has to deal with the TRUE car manufacturers that currently have proven their worth (Koenigsegg, Noble, Gumpert, Ariel, Hennessey, Ascari, BAC etc. etc.)

So I have thought about this for a while. I have a few cars I would love to have included in the series, however with each release there has always been a car that I wanted above all others. That car is always the car I happen to own at the time. Listed below

GT2 - 1992 Plymouth/Eagle/Mitsubishi - Laser/Talon/Eclipse Turbo
GT3 - 2001 Protege'5
GT4 - Still had the Protege' but got a Mazda 3i 2.0l sedan shortly after release
GT5 - 2009 WRX Premium Sedan
GT6 - Current car is a 2012 Nissan Juke SV*

*WHAT!? WRX > Juke. Actually it was WRX > Frontier 4x4 > Juke. Purchased more for my GF as I ride year round on my Motorcycle and the Juke gets better MPG.

Basically, Ive always wanted a virtual version of my exact car. Been close a few times with the Axela and WRX but never exact. Seems it will be the same with GT6 as they are they are supposedly adding the Nismo Juke.

Such a beautiful car, and the sound of the V12 engine is one of the best I've ever heard. Of course PD wouldn't be able to faithfully represent the sound though, but hell, I'll take something similar to the 599's V12 engine if it means the F50 gets in the game.
