Vlad: Loved the pic a page back. The green brings about a great atmosphere.
...and the B&W in yours really brings out the structure, very nice. :)

oh, and to contribute something. redeemer's church in bad hormburg:

I did some adventurous urban exploration today. I had two cameras with, one to document the massive amounts of graffiti (digital) and another to take proper pictures (SLR). I haven't gotten the film developped, but here's a crappy digital picture for now.

More to come when the film comes back.

Just bought a Casio EX-Z600
some random photos taking in NYC, Boston and Montreal

Went for a drive the other day when I decided to take the challenge of stopping where I was and try to get some good shots from where I was. Turns out that I was on one of the local 'fun' roads with some nice sloping corners and chicanes, along with some cool scenery next to the road. Here are the results:

Kodak Z740 5.0 - I took this after we got hit with a big storm.

People like to take kayaks down it. (For reference look at how small the person is in the backround.)

Nice pics. But, you really don't have to ruin the pic blocking it out. If you have photoshop you can use the clone stamp the match the rest of the bumper. And in the pic you have alot of black already. So, it would blend really well. If you don't have photoshop I could edit it for you. But, you're right it would be a really nice pic if you did.

Alright, here are a bunch of the film shots of my adventure. Since then I've gone back three times and found a bunch of other cool spot to shoot, including a really old abandonned malt plant (apparently they found a dead body there a year or two ago, but it's still a cinch to get in).

Typical room:

Grandfather reading, by Monk-e:

Window section:

Skylights are all torn open, exposing paint to the sky:

Shot in the rain, but somehow the place seems a lot more friendly when it is sunny:

That on the side is the building from which the rest of these pictures were taken:

Along a nearby wall, which has all changed since Friday:

Same wall:

Morbid little beast:

Under the adjacent highway:

As usual, pun fully intended:

I love graffiti. Nice shots, only wish you had a better cam.

Thanks. I am pretty sure the camera is fine, it's just that I don't know how to mess with any of the settings enough to capture what I see and how I see it.
