nope, not even close. i shot a field off of my t.v. (i think it was a taking back sunday video), and mixed in a previous shot of some twigs i had taken. the original field shot had a flower in it, i wanted to do a collage with city buildings and what not overlapping the field (omg get the metaphor/symbolism?).

after getting drunk for the 5th night in a row and fracturing a rib, i decided i should just take an easy day off at the cottage. a few weird ones, i'll have more when i can actually edit properly on my desktop. laptops suck.

taken with a 10.5mm fisheye. the thing is insane to use, you can focus on an object an inch away

Damn anti hero, specatacular pics. Is the last one wide angle or fish eye? Can't really tell...

Got a new blade today from my grandpa from Poland in the mail, he bought it for himself but he found his other one so he sent me his, I'm uber special. And then I was bored so I took some more. Only edit done is contrast and saturation, everything else is normal.

Anti Hero, how did the grain elevators smell?

I went to an abandonned malt plant a couple months ago, and the place reeked like dead everything, and we hadn't even gotten to the actual structure.

That last one was a 10.5 fisheye, and thanks. I like the last three shots of the knife, specially the last one; it's got a good light fall on it.

Like **** :grumpy:, but hey it was worth it.

The rest of the elevator shots, and the crane sitting next to it.

awesome stuff AH, I didn't know you were into urban exploring

thanks, i love it. i'm waiting to get my sigma 15mm fisheye i ordered and then im heading down to another abandoned grain elevator around here (it's just the foundation). we've got an abandoned highschool, two working grain elevators, and two abandoned ones all within 15 minutes of eachother. i posted the highschool back on page 64.

Midland, population 16,00. It's just a small tourist/cottage country town. How come you haven't been posting many pics lately?

I'm finaqlly getting a digital camera this week when we go to the gold coast [seaworld, dreamworld etc] maybe a few photos when we get back

can't wait to get my first digital camera apparently it's a real flash one not sure what it is yet

The Airshow on the beach was today. So where do the planes depart to fly there? Same place I work. Here's some of the shots I got with my crappy 75-300mm. ALso after much sharpening in PS. And they got really grainy :( I hate this lens. New one on the way :sly:

Is that big plane (Douglas? I really don't know my planes) the one that has the rockets strapped to the side so it can do near vertical climbs really fast like a jet?

because life's a b**** and I've run dry on inspiration. My time downtown always revolves around the same region of the city and I need to push away and try a different area - but I never have time. I took 2 rolls of film at the molson indy to use my SLR with - I'll be getting them developed in a week or so. Hopefully they came out well because I didn't use my digital for anything

The Blue Angels call it "Fat Albert." It's a C-130. And yes they have done JATO (Jet Assisted Take Off) before.

Heres some pics i took at a firework display a whlie ago, i thought i might aswell post them because ive seen a few here now, the top one is my favorite.

nice pics there slick rick, i love the one firework with the 3 colored rings, simply beautiful. Holden looks like a fun ride lol, i'd like to try that!

antihero : How do you get that vignetting look on your pictures??? And that leaf one is a plain picture, but you made it interesting.

Nich fish eye too!

thanks speedy.
those sunglass shots came out really really well, i could see them in a commercial advertisement. I'm gonna say the car was originally red since in all the others the tail has a bit of jaggedness (plus it's a Ferrari); good colouring all around.

thanks 👍 . i get that vignetting by alot of burning around the edges and maybe some dodging in the middle. bah, you're getting me to expose my secrets.

Here's some photo's I took recently of a friend of mine during his solo performance at a local bar.

These were all shot with my 50mm f/1.8 prime, lots of noise (between 800 and 1600 ISO) but I think they work well with be gritty black and white appearance.

Shot at around 1/160th or so. F/1.8 It was pretty dark.

nice shots jeremy. they all have a great composition, my favourites are the close ups on the geee-tar.

did some more exploring around another old grain elevator today. there was alot more light, enough for me to walk around without a tripod. here's only a few shots; i'll have the rest up when i'm not so lazy (i've got 400 pics to go through).
