I like the results of that IS lens, how much was it? I'm guessing quite a bit...
it was 400, right now after I get a nice wide angle I'm going to save up for the 70-200 F2.8L IS
What wide angle are you going to get??
the 10-17, is the fisheye affect for the whole range? when i 'defish' my fisheye i lose a bit of angle and the corners are usually distorted.
what do I want? a canon 14mm f/2.8L but at $1,800 I think I'll go with something else right now
Tokina makes a 10-17 f/3.5-4.5 for $550 or a 12-24mm f/4 for $500
the 10-17 is acutally a fisheye zoom which is kind of interesting because I can get regular wide and fisheye shots from 1 lens but from what I'm seeing it still has distortion on the 17 end.
Sigma has a 10-20mm for $500 aswell
anything I'm missing?
I know someone who has the sigma. For the money you can't beat it. I myself, bought the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5. I paid $800 though. I love it.
Pics I've taken with the 10-22mm

What's really amusing is when my wife takes my pictures of our kids to work to show off and they think my pics are good. In case you're missing my point, my pics suck in comparison to these.Jeez, you people are good! The quality of the stuff in this thread is just amazing!
Moglet, those DFP shots are ridiculous. Do you mind PMing me those two in 1600x1200 res? I'd really like to use them for my wallpaper eventually.
Nice to see a man not afraid to show the world he has a Rover!
