probably around $400

one problem with the 28 135 is the softness around the edges.

it was 400, right now after I get a nice wide angle I'm going to save up for the 70-200 F2.8L IS

what do I want? a canon 14mm f/2.8L but at $1,800 I think I'll go with something else right now :lol:

Tokina makes a 10-17 f/3.5-4.5 for $550 or a 12-24mm f/4 for $500

the 10-17 is acutally a fisheye zoom which is kind of interesting because I can get regular wide and fisheye shots from 1 lens but from what I'm seeing it still has distortion on the 17 end.

Sigma has a 10-20mm for $500 aswell

anything I'm missing?

the 10-17, is the fisheye affect for the whole range? when i 'defish' my fisheye i lose a bit of angle and the corners are usually distorted.

no its fisheye at 10 and not at 17 but even at 17 you still get some distortion

I know someone who has the sigma. For the money you can't beat it. I myself, bought the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5. I paid $800 though. I love it.

I still want a decent macro lens, anybody got any ideas of something decent that won't make my bank manager kill me that would fit my D50? I'm still a bit of a n00b when it comes to buying new lenses for my camera! :indiff:

Here they are, the pics of my youngest (1 day old) and cutest model ever, my Goddaughter elizabeth, I Called her dad yesterday and left a voicemail telling him congratulations and that they are in my prayers, the voicemail was at 12:08, the exact same time and minute she was born, crazy huh? Well enough talking, here are the pics of what is truly the worlds best Christmas present, may God watch over her and her family and bless her with a long and healthy life.

I can try and resize them to 1600x1200 but my camera takes pictures at a different aspect ratio so they would have to be cropped a little bit. I'll PM you when they're done though.

I'm hoping to shoot the Christmas tree tonight. At the minute, I'm trying to get to grips with the Santa-delivered tablet.

I'm quite proud of it actually. I've got a large Rover logo air freshener hanging in the front window, an 'MG Saloon Day' sticker in the rear window and URLs for www.metropower.co.uk in the windows too.

Spent around £2000 on that car....lol. Most people think i'm a bit sad but I love Metros! I'm hoping to get a 114MPi at some point and then get a 1.8VVC engine put in it.
