i've got a pet name? i feel loved. my pp techniques? you don't need them, that set you just posted was pretty solid. that's an awesome b&w conversion, and the last shot is just  . i use alienskin to create that old film look, that and alot of dodging and burning.

i'm excited to kinda move onto new things. hopefully i can get a digital pinhole working (how to here). here's an example from a fellow devart member clickme. i've also got a holga on the way so yeah, if you think my shots are weird wait until after that fatman in the red suit stops by.

:embarrassed: I've tried Eye Candy before and I didn't really like it. :indiff:

That digital pinhole is pretty sweet. 👍 I'm gonna try that if I can find my body cap, lol. Congrats on getting a Holga too. Are you gonna have your own darkroom, or get the film processed professionally?

I'll just get someone to process the film for me which kinda sucks but we'll see how they turn out. I can always use the darkroom we have at school here. My own darkroom comes later in life when i've got my own home.

I agree that pin hole shot is really nice. Eye candy and xenofex are ok, never really had a need for them at all, but the way antihero uses them is well done and very effective.

Since my last posts got some new kit.

RS-60E3 remote switch & BGE-3 Grip & spare battery. No new shots as last weekend was a total loss :(

Awwwww...How cute 👍

Nice shot TB. Excellent composition with the OOF carpet in the foreground really pinging the DOF.

Did Santa threatend to bypass your house if the model was uncooperative?!

Thanks, Giles. :)👍

No. Apparently, the best way to tak a picture of my son is to take about 15-20 sacrificial shots first. Then he calms down enough (or gets bored, your call) to start getting some decent shots. Of course, that is a good thing for me because it lets me get my exposures, white balance, etc. all set by the time he is ready.

Edit: My youngest son is still at the age where when I'm on the floor, that means crawl towards daddy because he has something in his hands that I want to play with. Eventually, though...

so I just paid for the 28-135 IS and now I'm buying accessories and more toys

I've got UV, polarizer, and fluorescent filters for all my lenses, a monopod, and a new backpack to carry it all, I've got about 70 bucks left, I was browsing around and found this:

it looks like it could be modified a bit and get some nice shots, any thoughts?

Thats quite a nice idea, wonder what wild shots and strange angles you could get from one of those. I was really thinking of getting the 70-300mm F4.8 L IS this month, but only if I dont get the sack from my job on monday :D or I did see second hand EOS 10D with kit lens for £800 not sure if this is worth it tho.

I was figuring that that wouldnt give me as much of a coverage area so I'm thinking I'll go with this:

and a heavy duty vacuum suction cup rated at 40 lbs capacity and rig a saftey strap to it all

think its better this way?

Some stuff from me...Nearly Christmas and still no snow 👎

I've got a budget of 500 euros right now, so please recommend me a camera 👍 Like you see, I really can use a new one...

Ultrashot, i really like the style of your barn image. It reminds me of a cold winter morning when the sun is low in the sky!
Took various shots of different decorations around my house today, so here they are.

That shot makes me want a 50mm even more. Excellent shot ah.

Moglet, I really like your last shot too. The puppy one is cool too :)

Wow -- Lots of fantastic photos since last visit.

Snapped this little guy before my battery died . . . will probably try to snap off some more soon. Did a little PP to fix the white balance and bring out some shadow details.

Not my photo... But I saw this picture on a forum, and thought I'd give it a shot of how antihero has his photo's... And I tried some blur..

Kind of rushed on the blur. I might try it over soon.

I borrowed the 28-135 IS from a friend once. The IS was a big help!! I hope to buy an IS lens one day. but not anytime soon. Went 4 wheeler riding this weekend. Here's a couple pics.
