I guess "Neither snow nor rain nor gloom of night" didn't apply to this courier. I looked it up and he was dumb enough to deliver his right-wing rant in full FedEx uniform. What did he expect would happen?

"Springtime For Twitler" and "Tomorrow Belongs To Me" spring to mind.

New York Times
Stephanie Grisham’s Book Details Trump’s ‘Terrifying’ Temper

The former press secretary is reflective in her tell-all: “I should have spoken up more.”
“... but I had my book sales to think about.”

NYT
“Stephanie didn’t have what it takes and that was obvious from the beginning,” Mr. Trump said in a statement on Tuesday. He said she had become “very angry and bitter” after a breakup. “She had big problems and we felt that she should work out those problems for herself. Now, like everyone else, she gets paid by a radical left-leaning publisher to say bad and untrue things.”
HarperCollins, owned by that well-known radical leftist, checks notes... Rupert Murdoch...

Even if the person is more/less fascist, the playbook says to accuse of being left leaning, radical, antifa, liberal.
Compare "normal" and "leftist," the latter applying not on a legitimate ideological basis but on the basis that one simply doesn't support Trump.

You know there's a difference between meeting someone at a conference/gala and 'having a meeting' with someone, right?

I've met three Nobel prize winners in the same way as pictured above, but I've never invited them to meet with me, nor would they likely accept even if I had. Context is important.

Come on, he must remember everyone he had a chat with at a gala nearly ten years ago, which totally means he also gave him a massive suitcase stuffed with money as well.

Oh wait, what's that the article says "These personalities, who might never fraternize in regular life", all at a gala the ambassador in question didn't arrange and as such had no control over the guest list.

Do you think this means I can invite Kaz around for dinner?

"semi-literate bigot-congratulatory wankery"

Didn't realise this one would get through the swear filter. This may come in handy in future discussions.

I wasn't sure either, so I tested with post preview. I didn't want to count on the filter either because some words have been deemed inappropriate despite clearing that hurdle, so I did a search of the site and it seems to be at least tolerable.

I scanned it carefully before posting (I'd have dropped it behind a spoiler with a warning if I thought it would be an issue), because despite being a legal document, it is Ken (see the "rule of goats"--language warning).

This may come in handy in future discussions.
"Kindly govern yourself."

Hello, 9-1-1? I'd like to report a murder.

This is a legitimate spoiler rather than something to conceal naughty words. Treat it accordingly.

I've read a lot of arguments from attorneys, and this was excellent lawyering. It's easy lawyering, because there is no intention or attempt at reaching an amicable settlement, so he gets to be insulting and cavalier. But the fact that he recognizes that and walks through that door is a breath of fresh air.

A lot of that is probably at the fingertips of a lawyer that works in free speech (which at this point I have to think is Mr. White's particular specialty). I'd be surprised if those citations, and the arguments connected to them, isn't something he uses on a very regular basis. Once you've written a note like this once, very carefully, it writes itself for another hundred clients that need the same kind of protection. You can just cut out any bullet points that don't apply in this particular case, add a few nasty flourishes about Canada, and be done. That's how good lawyering works of course.

Regardless of all of that, even with excellent templates, many lawyers fail to write such a coherent and clean response. That's even ignoring the wonderful artistic license he took in polishing his insults and humor. What I get from reading all of that is that this is a competent person, but I already knew that from the other twitter responses you've posted here.

Edit:

One more awesome thing about that letter. It's dated September 30th in response to a letter received September 29th.

That is legitimately wonderful and reminds me that in the past members of this very forum have attempted (on numerous occasions and across numerous threads) to actually try and claim Tim Pool and Andy Ngo as independent and un-biased reporters, rather than the far-right apologists and enablers they have always been.

That's precisely his specialty.
That's a fantastic podcast, by the way. Both pieces on cases involving protest against conscription--"Fire In A Crowded Theater" (Schenck) and "The F-Bomb" (Cohen)--are personal favorites. Bonus the latter for the use of Lenny Bruce audio clips (and, in case it's not obvious, language warning).

Oh and you might appreciate this:
