It's a bit disingenuous. Obama was not more fiscally responsible than Bush Jr. as this might suggest. The great recession hit right at the end of bush's term, taking the deficit from $460B in '08 to a combined Bush/Obama (mostly bush) deficit of $1.4T (1.2 Bush + 0.2 Obama) for 2009. Basically Bush oversaw huge losses in revenue due to the recession and spent big trying to bail it out, and Obama came in and said "we need to spend even more". How much of Obama's $600B deficit upon leaving office can be attributed to the great recession is a tough calculation to make.

Bottom line, Bush and Obama both spent like crazy for the '09 budget. 2010 deficit was worse not better.

Democrats do cause deficits. It's just that Republicans do too.

BTW the current deficit is just disgraceful.

How about not kissing their ass for starters

You do realize responses like this are exactly what Trump wants, right?

He wants people to criticize his every move and in exaggerated fashion. The more people do that, the more moderates get sick of it and vote for Trump out of spite.

This is the same damn thing he did in 2016 and it seems people are falling for it again hook line and sinker. As much as I hate it, Trump is likely winning in 2020, unless that is people wise up and stop playing his game.
