To be fair.... The Puritans, which fled Europe to America, left because they felt that religion wasnt persecuting people enough.

True.

Although there was Catholic persecution and general persecutions of non-Anglicans in England at times, those particular Puritans on the Mayflower wanted to create an extremely zealous, Puritan-only society. They detested the relative religious freedom, liturgical laxity and societal decadance that existed.

Important stress on relative.

I'd explain why you're wrong but you'd likely just not follow the discussion again.
"Not follow", meaning I was asking for facts and proof instead of you continuing with your Ayn Rand failed garbage.

I will give you points for not denying that you did in fact conclude with your ridiculous strawman :)

Case in point.

This seems like a rather odd thing to post considering your stance on giving the government control of healthcare.
Not really since healthcare's purpose is patient wellbeing.

But in a plutocracy like the US, profiteering supercedes patient wellbeing so somebody may be conditioned to believe healthcare is an exploitative endeavor in its nature.

You're most recent "meme" from facetitter is talking about the government only caring about control (the party doesn't matter as both major parties crave it). That's exactly what you're endorsing by championing government controlled healthcare.

It's just baffling to me that someone can go on and on about how horrible the government is, than turn around and support giving them more authority to abuse!

That's because you keep misframing it as "government control" when it's more accurate to say taxpayer funded.

Not sure what nefarious designs you believe government healthcare administrators are plotting and scheming.
