I'm missing something in my graphics settings. Ya'll's photos are stupid awesome.
Hunting for dramatic lighting or going for the raw shots... Both methods are fine.

I quite like the first one with "unglorified drama", the flat light of a rainy day and a scary moment of opposite lock -feel, and the last one with the "contemplative race car". Awesome!

Playing with the renderer...this is still taken out of the live gameplay :)

I really have no idea on what my interest level will be for the Stock Cars, but I love the retro paint schemes of my youth. I've seen the Bobby Allison, Davey Allison, Bill Elliot and now Jeff Gordon knockoffs. Great job on those.

Or is it just the driver mimicking his expression regarding other people's photos? lol

They are law on road cars in the UK. SMS are UK (?). Ergo front license plates. I dont disagree, just explaining the probable logic. ;)

Basically it's everywhere a law in western europe (at least on the back of the car). Kind of strange that all cars have german plates though

Someone should do the Tilt Shift effect on PCARS

You mean sort of like the image below? It's taken using the focus distance/depth/fade adjustments. Please bear in mind that I suck at screenshotting, all my gfx setting are 'random' ATM, the focus adjustments use quick and unsubtle settings and I'm knackered now and about to hit the hay... Enough excuses, suffice to say, I have no business posting in a Photo Pron thread...

Edit: Note - the shots were taken with no AA because I had those mentioned 'random' gfx settings as part of some testing I was doing. Perhaps I'll redo them with AA tomorrow, or perhaps someone else will post better tilt lens shots. Yup, that's what I'm saying, I have no business posting here :P

Tilt-shift pictures work best when taking shots from a distance, so for example, taking a picure of Lowes Hairpin would have been better from Mirabeau or the casino from high up, where you can capture a lot of scenery to shift the focus and lose the sense of scale that tilt-shifting tricks you into.
