I dont know really what happened there. He could go much faster after the crash and probably only has minor suspension damage. No meatball flag is displayed either.

It's part of the WEC series in the endurance career. Also nice 3000th post.

Who has 3000 posts?

After watching those Le Mans videos, I'll PM SMS my bank account info to make it easier for them to take my money year after year! I'm so sold, I've already bought the game for PS4, and now I'm in the process of building a PC to play it there soon thereafter. Seriously, those videos are powerful marketing tools; keep up the awe inspiring work.

I believe your real name is "Data" and you can process videos at 1000fps :D

Driving/Racing in PCars is really addictive.

Anybody else notice a pattern of the AI completely backing off once they get passed in some of these videos? It's like they'll race you hard until you pass them and then they just stop trying.

Just analysing the Monaco video I'd say the AI was pretty good, I took particular note of the total gap between the car ahead and the car behind the player. When the player took P4 the gap between P3 and P5 was 1.8 sec (P5 had just made a mistake and dropped back a little). Prior to him passing those two cars had maintained a pretty consistant gap of probably around 0.5 sec so were running about the same pace. After the pass P5 continued to drop further back to around 2.8 sec (still recovering from the mistake) and then maintained that gap until the player caught P3. Once the player and P3 started dicing for position they slowed each other down and P5 caught back up to within 1 sec by the time the player made the pass. Similar scenario for P2 and P4 from then on. This shows me that the cars didn't back off once passed but pretty much maintained their pace throughout - the player was just a bit quicker overall than the AI.
