At last, the trailer for Season 2 of my ongoing series, a look back at 1967 F1 using Project Cars. As an added bonus, the music was created and performed by Moby, and there's even some classic Murray Walker added. More details about the series in the video description.

I'm still a fellow newbie to Project CARS after coming from only playing GT. I did some hotlapping with @Schmidt2016 and we some how came up with the Lotus 98T at Laguna Seca with no assists (as usual) and no tuning. My end result was a 1:12.198

Controller or wheel?

Wheel. He sits on my lap and does the steering while I do the pedals for him. He plays arcade racing games with a controller, and Mario Kart on the DS (he is able to consistently win in Mario Kart too).

I started by letting him just play around with the wheel with various cars at Mojave on the skidpan, so he could get a feel for it. Then letting him try a few circuits until I found Stowe to be a good small circuit for him to learn, while providing enough tricky corners so as to not make it too easy for him. The next step is to get him in a car with less grip, so he can feel the grip limit, and find out what happens when you lose control, and how to save it. I'm thinking the Caterham 7 Classic would be good for that, because it's gutless, but has absolutely no grip, and it's RWD.

That is awesome!
Forget GTSport being 7 - 77, PCARS is 4 - 88!

Haha yeah according to Kaz Will's got three years to go until he can play GTS, but by then I'll have him turning laps in a real go-kart lol.

This is Will a bit over a year ago. No surprises he was going to be a big fan of racing lol

Another video of my world champ in the making. This time, he's graduated to full size circuits and cars with a bit more power and less grip. This is at the classic 1975 version of Silverstone, driving a Lotus 25. Will's doing the steering, I'm doing the brake and throttle, and I've set the gears to auto for him.

Kids now a days have it too good, when I was in that age I had this :D
