Heheheh wow that's awesome :D haven't got any kids but I might get one for myself hahahaha

One of the best parts of having a son is toy shopping lol. I grew up in a pretty poor family, and didn't get much as a kid, so I love buying all the coolest stuff for my boy lol. The hard part is holding myself back from buying him too much, as I don't want him to become a spoilt little 🤬 lol

Heh I don't think one becomes spoiled by having stuff, key is just to learn to respect others and life in general :)

Not really a person who would go about giving parenting advice, but in my honest opinion the main thing would be to keep him interested in doing racing stuff for if one enjoys what he's doing one will most likely become pretty good at in what he's doing :) at least I've learned already at young age that if I like some sport, it just keeps getting better the better I learn to do it :dopey:

But yeah, hope he stays interested, sim-racing is starting to be quite serious business now a days already so I just wonder what it's going to be in ten years or so :D

I gave the PS4 GoTY version a go, sound seemed bugged when I played this combo to see if I can beat a top 30 ghost with a pad and how visuals are compared to GT SPORT at same track. I was quite impressed how easy this car was to drive with the DS4 with default setup, scruffy lap but good enough to get Exorcist trophy the proper way.

Man, that´s quite a setup you have there, it´s probably the best I´ve ever seen  Even through a GoPro it still looks fantastic.

You need to work on your heel and toe technique though. You release a lot of brake pressure with the toe when you blip the power with the heel, and then increase it again when you can focus only in the toe work.

The braking input needs to be ever-decreasing as you lose speed and linear, not spiky. All the focus and precision must go to the toe work (brake), the heel blip on the power is secondary, you don´t need precision, just decent timing and reving up enough so that the next gear engages smoothly. The throttle blipping can NEVER disrupt your braking effort.

When you move your feet to do the throttle blipping your braking input starts fluctuating badly. In case you already knew this and you can´t do it because of the pedals, try moving your throttle pedal closer to the brake, you´ll be able to be much more precise on the brakes while doing the throttle blip. I bet that set of pedals allows all sorts of adjustments. :)

Considering the amount of mental work that is done to even do what he did, I'd say he did a damn good job. I could never do that and it looks like a ballet of footwork

You could, trust me. It´s one of these things that look very hard if you never do it, but once you try it and get some practice it becomes second nature.
