Project CARS gameplay with graphics settings on ultra. The video is a lap at Snetterton Circuit with the BMW M1 Procar.

Physics look good in this video, the car acts like you would expect it. Oversteer. I really like it that the sun shines on some parts of the track and is darker on some parts of the track.

Understeer and oversteer , looks a handful which is great ! Really looking forward to this now especially the GT3 class racing and Lmp .

Nice graphics, but driver in PCars can take a nap :D

But that's the thing with pCARS, so much is configurable what you see in a video is not necessarily what it may be in all cases.
I was curious so I selected the BAC Mono for a few laps on SPA, it looked nothing like digiprost's video as far was movement goes. First, he must be using a strange wheel lock or sensitivity as he is barely turning the wheel in corners, mine looks closer to the IRL video. Then there is the movement of the racers helmet, on mine the helmet is buffeting about and moving according to G-Forces (braking-forward, accelerating-backward, corners-side to side). Then there are the mirrors, for the life of me I don't know why the mirrors look to "wobble" in some videos, mine are vibrating very rapidly - very small vibrations nothing like the wobble. Then there is the smooth steering, the racer in the pCARS video may have all aids on, as with no aids selected there will be times of quick correction to catch over-steer or reaction to bumps and lost of traction.
Moral of the story, while pCARS may not be perfect don't judge from a few videos.

Quick question regarding the replays

Can you cycle through each of the cars on the grid during the replays, or is the camera stuck on just your car like in shift 2?

As digiprost said in the description. The "lazy wheel" is a bug in replay mode. It's not like that when you actually drive :)
There's also the usual problem of comparing shaky/jello -cam real life video with a rigid (and of course non-jello) cam in the sim. That skews the impression of "liveliness".

BTW, all those jello-cam videos on da toob remind me of an even more hyperactive version of the jello-racer Motor Toon Grand Prix (Which was Kaz's first racing game!) :)

Heres my video on AI its not great as its new editing software and the mics a cheap one.

This was really bad; noticed rubber banding too after the drivers made a mistake surrounding cars were slowing down... it this due to the difficulty level the video recorder chose? is also normal for ai to get stuck in an uber pack crashing like he showed at the beginning or just a track/configuration problem?

greeting

Just want you to know, I really enjoy your videos bro. Some of the best I've seen. Yorki's are good to but he's been exploring other racing games at the moment. Cheers!

im sorry but i dont quite get your questions about difficulty and video recorder

When he said video recorder, he was referring to the person who recorded the video, ie you. It's not rubber banding, it's the AI getting a little confused as how to best avoid the other cars when it has an obstruction ahead of it and cars either side.

It's rubber banding. he got in grass trying to move on the inside and almost stopped, cars in front of him slowed down dramatically. not talking about the very start a couple mins on

Wait a second? PCars will have rubber banding AI? If yes, then I'm done. That's the worst a racing game can have.

Edit - Just watched it again. Can't see any rubber banding.

Please remember that I put the grid to 64 to test the ai. Now if your approaching a collision in racing and there's a guy on the left and a guy on the right what do you do?
Answer slow down. A because you don't want another collision and b so don't get punctures.

This shows the woeful innacuracy of Project Cars. Everyone knows the sun hasn't been seen at Spa since 1783 (unless the player had loaded the weather conditions for that very day)

Is there any chance someone could put together 2 videos of the same build, race, track and car. Both videos in 1080p. The first with the graphic settings at maximum and the second at minimum. Pretty please.

No, driver went on grass when side by side on 2 other cars, the 2 AI were alone and unschated, yet slowed down terribly to avoid pulling away from the driver. this is rubber banding at the worst. Not talking about the beginning, but a couple mins on.

Concerning the 64 drivers on track, maybe the AI i better with less cars on track? What i saw there is beyond terrible thinking it's a recent build and PC is out in one month...

Can we have a Video with Fast AI and a lower number of cars?

There is no rubber banding in Project CARS, so stop saying that there is.
ok if the term is the problem let's call it '"rubber bandesque" behaviour of cars not going away full throttle' for no reason.

now let's talk seriously.
