I think so, also the helmet cam is a bit strange in my opinion.
I never see so much of my helmet when I'm wearing it.

I think its just the simulation of tunnel vision at higher speeds. I don't mind it, as its not distracting to me at all. I count gears and try to judge by sound, sometimes I glance down to see the RPM lights.

The motion blur can be turned off. Not sure about helmet cam though.

@ Gejabo & MortIci : The helmet cam has an on/off switch for DOF and an on/off switch for the actual helmet graphics.

As someone who has several different styles of motorcycle and racing helmets. I would agree the view isnt quite right. but to get the perspective right would mean an odd POV.

Yes, the pit to car radio can be switched off. The unsportsmanlike conduct would not result in an immediate penalty, more a kind of 'we're watching you, so best behaviour' thing. Get enough of them, or severe enough, and you will get a penalty. It could be a drive-through, stop-go or disqualification.

I don't blame automatically anybody who's using cracked content, but...i wouldn't go officialy with such revelation and show all - hey i'm using illegal content! - that's embarrassing a little.
This project is growing with every build, and You just can't just dive into without knowing whole background ab. development stage of many many elements.

An opinion taken without it is just unfair to lot of people involved in this game ;(

New video of the series 'Real Cam Effect', this time with Project CARS, where I've added filters for enhancing the realism and lighting, also flashes and spots on the lens. The video is recorded as if captured from a camera in this position, its a onboard lap with the Lotus 98T Renault Turbo at Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Ah, thanks. It would have helped if I'd read it properly. Still, at least it's some 60fps non YouTube footage for a change. When are Youtube going to get up to date? It makes such a difference when viewed on a big screen.

Anyway, i have seen on Youtube, a video where the P1 keeps shooting blue exhaustflames.
I think it looks absolut amazing !!
(Not my video, just an example of what i mean. Look at 0:16 - 0:20. Wow.)


And thats a early build, i suppose, cause the video is from august.

In more recent videos, in dont se any flames at all from the P1.
Anyone having the PCars, can you bring som clarification ?
Did they remove the exhaustflames ?From all cars, just the P1, or is it an option to turn it on/off ?

Man this game looks sooooo good. The helmet cam is hands-down the only way to play. Good job to all that have helped to make it what it is.

Can I ask for someone to post a video of the damage modeling and how the warning lights (engine temp / oil temp) work in the game? I don't think I have seen any videos that touch on this subject. If these videos have been posted, can you just point me to them?
