Was this a multiplayer race with AI field fillers? Reason I ask is because one of the Astons in the background has its lights on, while everyone else has them off

Guess so, I wasnt involved in the race, the guy who posted it @ WMD didnt say what kind of race it was, only that he was in the Boss Mustang and the Ginetta is an AI car.

Not from the live stream, but just a good race
Not sure what AI% he was running against, but they gave him good opposition. Also no 1st lap shennanigans as far as I could see, despite a wet and narrow track 👍

Looks superb , the Ai look really impressive and sure to give an average racer like me a great challenge , my one gripe is Lights not being used in less than perfect conditions . I wish that could be sorted

Yeah, this must be one of the builds with the latest AI optimizations. AI is probably set around 80% i think.

Do you know if the lights issue is because of performance ? Will it or can it be implemented later ?

Ya i think it is a tradeoff to keep the FPS high. It is still possible that it will make it to the game later.

I actually thought the older build was the latest one at first.

The older build has more realistic colour tones. The new one is a bit too bright and colourful.

Were some improvements made to Doppler Effect recently? In this video it doesn't sound anywhere near as bad as I felt in some older footage:

The engine sound is good, but the doppler effect hasn't improved in my opinion. You can already hear the frequency go down before the car has passed. In some sections of the video I barely hear a difference between de approaching car and when it drives away. Still needs some work, but imho the racing part has a higher priority to get fully optimized than the replays.

didn't work on my iPhone but was fine on PC, although my laptop is so underpowered I had to use medium settings :/

still looked great and was good to hear from Andy and Ian.

the feature that has me most interested is the Locker for sharing set ups. I really hope there's a rating system in place for community set ups so we know whose to trust and which set ups are best.

Just to be clear - locker is not in the game yet and there is no indication on when it will be implemented. Just wanted to make it clear, so people don't get disappointed over nothing.
