I don't wish any racing game bad things. Every single studio that produces this kind of content today deserves to be alive and kicking. And as soon as GT7 details emerge, every single one of us will soak up any tidbit of information....in anticipation. That is a good thing.

Yes, AI sounds have a reduced quality and limited volume. Its a tradeoff because resources are limited and there is no way to convey the added up volume of dozends of cars convincingly to the player.

And that's quite a bummer. Other racing games can do it. At least having the AI and player car at the same loudness level. As long as you are test-driving or hotlapping alone on the track, it sounds fine. But watching a replay of a race sounds quite odd. Visuals and sounds do not match, because I see lots of cars but only hear a single one and some noise in the background.

But pcars is not supposed to be about driving alone on the track, isn't it?

I'm not defending the tradeoff, yet i do understand the problem. It is not that simple, level all the sounds equally and it will sound better. Every single game uses some kind of acoustic tricks to manage the resources. And no speaker in the world has enough dynamic range to reproduce the sound of dozends of race cars at the same time physically correct.

Of course the sound in GT6 isn't good. But come on! The Lotus 97T sound is really good!! And the doppler is just amazing in GT6.

I see a lot of people talking a lot of things about how bad GT is in this and that....

But, everytime i play GT i do feel something especial that any other game give me. I can really feel the Kazunori's passion in the game. I do thing that PCars will be a great game(and really hope for it) but when GT7 comes to light...

Oh God!!

Message to all video creators:
If you would like to be on the list of channels that provide pCARS footage, just say so. (I will only add the people who commonly make pCARS videos, not those who record pCARS once in a while.)

I have this link to the twitch stream:

http://www.twitch.tv/ginxtv/v/3813196?t=21h13m00s

didn't work on my iPhone but was fine on PC, although my laptop is so underpowered I had to use medium settings :/

still looked great and was good to hear from Andy and Ian.

the feature that has me most interested is the Locker for sharing set ups. I really hope there's a rating system in place for community set ups so we know whose to trust and which set ups are best.

I'm not able to view the video through Twitch for some reason, but Gameblast has it on their website too now. This one works for me. Skip to around 21:13:00 for the Project CARS Saturday afternoon session (PS4 footage):
